CONCRETES-SAY SOMETHING NEW(MINI-CD LICKING FINGERS LFCD009/PLAYGROUND) Många kändisar är med på denna skiva, Nicolai Dunger är med och Micke Borg och Pelle Gunnerfeldt har mixat bland andra men jag har inget info om gruppen när jag skall lyssna på dem för första gången och det är verkligen från scratch jag gör detta. Jag kollade in på deras hemsida och det hade tydligen gjort en del spelningar i utlandet och två fullängdare. Detta ska bli intressant att sätta tänderna i. De kör en cover av Stones Miss You men den kommer vi åter till. Musikaliskt ligger de i Jesus and Mary Chains tidiga ådra fast lite poppigare, allt detta kryddat med en tjej på sång. Men en trevlig ganska lugn uppenbarelse är detta och deras version av Miss You är fräck.(SEX) 15/4-04 |

Nicolai Dunger is there and Micke Borg and Pelle Gunnerfeldt have mixed it among others but I have no info about the group so when I shall listen on them for the first time it´s really from scratch I do it. I checked their website and they have done a lot of gigs outside Sweden and two fullengths. This would be interesting to put my teeth into. They do a cover of Stones Miss You but we come back to that. Musically they is in the same style as Jesus and Mary Chains early songs but a lot poppier, all these spiced with a girl on vocals. But a really nice and calm experience is this and their version of Miss You is cool.(SIX) 15/4-04 |
