Finska ska och reggaegrupper är det inte så gott om hemma
hos mig men Valkyrians är ju en men nu har jag fått denna skiva också. Det
är en lättsam och trivsam historia denna skiva. Man blir glad av deras musik
och det rycker i de dansben som jag inte har. Här handlar det inte om
skapunk utan en mer traditionell ska och jag får nästan lite 60-tals
feeling. De kör en fantastisk cover av Billy Braggs Which side are you on
och det blir till en helt ny låt. Jag älskar deras sound och jag blir som
sagt riktigt jävla glad av deras låtar. Visst är det säkert en grupp som
Specials som har inspirerat till en hel del men Blaster Master klarar sig på
egna ben tycker jag nog och deras 12 låtar på den här skivan är alla små
pärlor i sig själva. Bring me the sun och Bragg-covern är nog mina favoriter
på skivan men det finns riktigt många bra låtar att svänga sina lurviga ben
till. Så det finns inte mycket att tveka över för det känns som om detta är
en skiva som alla fans av reggae och ska borde ha i sitt hem. 27/4-2026

Finnish ska and reggae groups are not so much in my house
but Valkyrians is one but now I have got this record too. It is a
light-hearted and pleasant story this record. You get happy from their music
and it tugs in the dance legs which I don't have. Here it is not about
skapunk but a more traditional ska and I get almost a little 60 ́s feeling.
They do a fantastic cover of Billy Braggs Which side are you on and it
becomes a whole new song. I love their sound and I get really fucking happy
of their songs. Sure it is surely a group like Specials which has inspired a
lot but Blaster Master can do on their own two feet I think and their 12
songs on this record are all small gems in themselves. Bring me the sun and
the Bragg-cover are probably my favorites on the record but there are really
many good songs to swing their furry legs to. So there is not much to doubt
about because it feels like this is a record that all fans of reggae and
should have in their home. 27/4-2026
