BLACK MARIA-A SHARED HISTORY OF TRAGEDY(CD-VICTORY RECORDS VR 320/BORDER) Det fem man starka bandet Black Maria är ett framtidshopp och jag tror bara det är en tidsfråga innan bandet ligger på ett större bolag. Deras musik som är en mix av hardcore och metal fast med mycket starka melodier är en musik som fastnar riktigt bra i huvudet trots att det inte är några uttalade hitlåtar. Tungt är det i alla fall och helt klart är att det här bandet har potential. De låter arga som bara den och Black Maria har ett sound som trots allt det hårda ger ett visst hopp inför framtiden och då menar jag inte bara för bandet utan för världen i stort. (SJU) 17/10-06 |

Their music which is a mix of hardcore and metal but with really strong melodies is a music which is stykced really good in the head even if there isn´t any real hitsongs. Heavy is it anyway and it's really clear that the band have potential. They sounds angry as hell and Black Maria have a sound even if they´re hard gives us hope in to the future and then I don´t mean for the band only , I mean for the world in all.(SEVEN) 17/10-06 |

BLACK MARIA-LEAD US TO REASON(CD-VICTORY RECORDS VR 238/BORDER)Emocore på det enda rätta viset egentligen, aggressivt som bara den. Med en ”skrikig” sångare kan man komma långt och det gör nog Black Maria. De ser ut lite som ett pojkband nästan och det kommer de säkert att ha en fördel av om de bilderna kablas ut. De 11 låtarna är fyllda av det vanliga när vi snackar om emocore och det är ju ingredienser som också lockar tjejer. Nej, nu skall jag vara snäll för Black Maria håller ganska hög klass i emocoredivisionen men jag kommer nog inte att nynna på deras låtar några dagar efter jag hört dem,(SEX) 1/6-05 |

They look like a boyband almost and that they surely will have a advantage of if the pictures on them will come out. The 11 songs is filled with the usual things when we we talk about emocore and that´s ingredients which also get girls.
