BLACK CAT REBELLION-LOVERS OF THE BIZARRE(CD)

Skivan lovade Dark and dangerous rock n roll och det kanske är så det är. Punkrock i sann rock n roll anda och man kan kanske sträcka sig till att kalla detta för garagepunk men jag tycker nog att punk är det rätta för denna grupp. Då snackar vi tidig punkrock och då kanske vi sträcker oss så långt tillbaka till Stooges, New York Dolls, Heartbreakers och allt detta blandat med lite modernare tongångar och det blir till en riktigt trevlig blandning av punkrockens alla bra saker. Det är riktigt bra tempo i vissa av låtarna och en låt som Sex and death har ett ganska eget sound på något sätt och det är en klart tempofylld låt. Musiken är av allra yppersta klass och är ni inne på gammaldags punkrock men vill ha lite mer modernt sound så kommer ni att gilla detta. 25/5-2015

The disc vowed Dark and Dangerous rock'n'roll and maybe the way it is. Punk rock in true rock n roll spirit and one can perhaps extend that call this garage punk but I think that punk is the right thing for this group. When we're talking early punk rock and then maybe we reach as far back to the Stooges, New York Dolls, Heartbreakers and all this mixed with a little more modern noises and it will be a really nice mix of punk rock's all good things. It's really good pace in some of the songs, and a song like Sex and death have a pretty unique sound in any way and there is a clear breezy song. The music is of the highest class and you are inside the old fashioned punk rock but want a bit more modern sound and you will like this. 25/5-2015
