Det här gillar jag och blir riktigt glad av för den här musiken görs av sångarna från Larry and his Flask tillsammans med några till och det är musik som man kan dnsa till, sjunga med i, älska till eller bara vara glad. Det går ganska snabbt och det är punkigt på ett folkmusikaktigt sätt och på samma gång kan jag tänka lite på annan musik också. Så det är inte den typen av folkpunk som Dropkick Murphys eller så utan här får vi en mer poppig stil. Jag tänker på att om Smiths skulle spelat lite mer folkaktigt hade det kanske låtit på detta sätt. Hoppas ni fattar lite då hur jag menar och hur det låter. Det jag gillar allra mest är tempot som trummisen håller och att sången är såpass långt fram och det är skönt att sätta på en sådan här skiva mellan hårda akter och ändå känna att det finns punk i bakgrunden även om det inte är lika tufft som punken men tempot finns där. Shelter är nog min favoritlåt på skivan men det finns många bra låtar att sätta tänderna i och gillar ni lite akustisk punkig musik med folkinfluenser så är Beyond The Lamplight gruppen för er! 14/4-2023

I like this and get really happy because this music is made by the singers from Larry and his Flask together with a few others and it is music that you can dance to, sing along to, love to or just be happy to. It's pretty fast and it's punky in a folk music-like way and at the same time I can think a little about other music as well. So it's not the kind of folk punk like Dropkick Murphy's or so, but here we get a more poppy style. I think if the Smiths had played a little more folky, it might have sounded this way. Hope you understand a bit then what I mean and how it sounds. What I like the most is the tempo that the drummer keeps and that the vocals are so far forward and it's nice to put on a record like this between hard acts and still feel that there is punk in the background even if it is not as tough as punk but the tempo is there. Shelter is probably my favorite song on the album but there are many good songs to sink your teeth into and if you like some acoustic punky music with folk influences, Beyond The Lamplight is the group for you! 14/4-2023
