Det här är en grupp som jag hört namnet på men aldrig hört. Tack vare Emanuel på Avart Records så fick jag tag i ett ex. Jag visste inte alls vad jag skulle vänta mig på något sätt. Trodde nog först att det skulle vara distad punk och ibland kan man ju bli besviken när man sätter på något och det inte alls är som du tänkt dig men här gjord det absolut ingenting. Beverly Kills går i samma linje som en del annat på Welfare Records och jag gillar verkligen det jag hör. Vad är det jag får höra då? Det är en riktigt snygg stil av indierock, ganska sprött på något sätt men det är så vacker musik men på samma gång finns det en tuffhet i allt det sköra. Kanske inte så att det hörs så mycket i musiken men attityden finns där. Alma som sjunger gör det så fruktansvärt bra och det är inte ofta jag blir så överraskad när jag sätter på en skiva som jag tror ska låta på något helt annat sätt men bara älskar för det gör jag med denna drömska indiegrupp. 11 potentiella hitlåtar i indievärlden och den här skivan kommer att rulla ofta i mitt hem. Blanda Cardigans med Miss Li och lägg till Division 7 och Terra’s musik för då skulle det kunna bli så här….19/5-2025

This is a group that I have heard the name of but never heard. Thanks to Emanuel at Avart Records, I got hold of an ex. I didn't know what to expect in any way. At first I thought it would be distorted punk and sometimes you can be disappointed when you put something on and it's not at all as you imagined but here it did absolutely nothing. Beverly Kills goes in the same line as some other things on Welfare Records and I really like what I hear. What am I being told then? It's a really nice style of indie rock, pretty brittle in some way but it's so beautiful music but at the same time there is a toughness in all the fragile. Maybe not that you can hear so much in the music, but the attitude is there. Alma who sings does it so terribly well and it ́s not often I get so surprised when I put on a record which I think should sound in some completely different way but just love because I do that with this dreamy indie group. 11 potential hit songs in the indie world and this record will be played often in my home. Mix Cardigans with Miss Li and add Division 7 and Terra's music because then it could be like this....19/5-2025
