BASSHOLES-BASSHOLES(CD-DEAD CANARY DCR 005/EVIL BITCH) Bassholes spelar en typ av rock n roll som är ganska lågmäld och ligger någonstans mittemellan Cowboy Junkies, Velvet Underground och Nick Cave. Som ni förstår är det helt klart väldigt svårförklarat men det är det som gör de riktigt intressanta faktiskt. Jag kan tänka mig att en konsert med dem blir en ganska trevlig psykedelisk utflykt och på samma gång som jag skriver detta får jag en tanke på Soggy Bottom Boys från filmen O brother where art thou och man hör lite inslag från den tidiga blusen också.(SEX) 27/1-05 |
BASSHOLES-BASSHOLES(CD-DEAD CANARY DCR 005/EVIL BITCH) Bassholes plays a style of rock n roll which is really lowsounded and it´s somewhere between Cowboy Junkies, Velvet Underground and Nick Cave. As you can understand it is really hard to describe but the things which does this interesting actually. I can imagine that a concert with them is a really nice psychedelic journey and in the same time I write this I think about Soggy Bottom Boys from the movie O Brother where art thou and you can hear some influences from the early blues also.(SIX) 27/1-05 |
