BARSTOOL PHILOSOPHERS-SPARROWS(CD)

En grupp som jag egentligen inte alls får någon pejl på när jag ser på namn , bilder osv. När de sätter igång så tänker jag både på Bowie på samma gång som tidiga Marillion, Pink Floyd och den typen av musik dyker upp i mitt huvud. Ni förstår därför att detta inte är någon vanlig simpel treackordsmusik som spelas utan här är det mer avancerade saker än så. Behöver inte alltid eller är väl aldrig bättre än treackordspunk eller liknande men de har ett snyggt sound som jag faktiskt kan uppskatta i många av låtarna och helt klart är detta en lyssningsvärd skiva. 28/1-2011

A group which I don´t get any real picture of when I see their name, pictures etc. When they´re on with their music so do I think of Bowie in the same time as I think of early Marillion, Pink Floyd and that type of msuci which is coming up into my head. You understand of this that this isn´t any simple threechordmusic which is played here and it´s more advanced music than so. It´s not so that it is or it is never better than threechordpunk or similar but they have a nice sound which I actually can appreciate in many of the songs and this is a record worth to listen to. 28/1-2011
