Tim Barry kommer från grupper som Avail och (Young) Pioneers och här blir det inte så mycket ljud som på de gruppernas skivor. Jag gillar när gamla punkare kör akustiskt och Tim Barry gör det riktigt bra. Med berikande texter, bra sångröst, lugna låtar med en liten countrytouch gör att min morgon börjar ganska bra faktiskt och jag sätter inte kaffet i vrångstrupen…nej just det jag dricker ju inte kaffe. Många klassiska countryinstrument finns i hans kompgrupp också men som sagt det står mig inte alls att det låter country för det är något som jag lärt mig uppskatta mycket mer på senare år och då menar jag den mer moderna countryn och såklart Johnny Cash. Låter väldigt amerikanskt tycker jag och det kanske inte är så konstigt eftersom han kommer därifrån. Skivan kommer säkert att bli spelad ganska ofta hemma hos mig för det känns som om detta är musik som kan bli rätt uppskattad här hemma. Medryckande trots det akustiska soundet. Gillar ni altcountry är detta den perfekta skivan för er! Cab # 13 är lite mer distad än de andra låtarna…vilken jävla bra låt!  2/12-2022

Tim Barry comes from the groups Avail and (Young) Pioneers and here there is not so much noise as on those groups' records. I like when old punks do acoustic music and Tim Barry does it really well. With enriching lyrics, good singing voice, calm songs with a little country touch makes my morning start pretty well actually and I don't put the coffee in my throat... No, I forgot I don´t  drink coffee. A lot of classic country instruments are in his backing group as well but as I said it doesn't tell me at all that it sounds country because it's something that I've learned to appreciate a lot more in recent years and I mean the more modern country and of course Johnny Cash. Sounds very American I think and it might not be so strange since he comes from there. The record will certainly be played quite often at my house because I feel like this is music that can be quite appreciated here at home. Captivating despite the acoustic sound. If you like altcountry, this is the perfect record for you! Cab #13 is a bit more distorted than the other songs... What a fucking good song!2/12-2022

Fick även denna singel med 4 låtar varav två covers av Henry Whitter och Woody Guthrie. Inte så annars att musiken skiljer så mycket från LP:n men de här coverlåtarna är riktigt bra. Titellåten är en ganska fartfylld eller rättare sagt en låt med mer instrument vi är vana vid när det gäller Tim Barry. Jag får lite I shot The sheriff känsla i Clem´s court Date fast utan reggaefeeling…förklara det för mig. Jag gillar den mycket och den känns uppbyggd som en gammal traditionell amerikansk folksång. Jag vill höra mer och mer av denne sångare. Kul musik och den känns avslappnande på något sätt. 2/12-2022

Also got this single with 4 songs including two covers by Henry Whitter and Woody Guthrie. Not that otherwise the music is that different from the LP but these cover songs are really good. The title song is a rather fast-paced or rather a song with more instruments we are used to when it comes to Tim Barry. I get a bit of I shot The sheriff's feeling in Clem's court Date but without the reggaefeeling... explain it to me. I like it a lot and it feels like an old traditional American folk song. I want to hear more and more of this singer. Fun music and it feels relaxing somehow. 2/12-2022
