Hungarian hardcore....can it be something? It really can, I'll tell you right away. Maybe more punk than hardcore but really good stuff. 19 songs where the lyrics have also been translated to English lyrics so you know what it's all about. It feels almost a little bit dangerous to sing these lyrics in Hungary because it seems like you can't really say what you want there but I don ́t know for sure. The music is fast, melodic and with lyrics that touch, at least if you read them in English. I can't think of any obvious bands as influences for the band, but I must say fast punk in general has certainly inspired the band to this record. The record came out in 2003 from what I understand and this record is more than good in 2024 too. Because I really like their almost desperate style that they have in some of the songs and you really feel the desperation they felt when they wrote these songs. Would you miss this group as I had done it ́s really sorry for you.....for real that is... Buy this... Check out on different platforms etc etc. 10/4-2024

BARACKCA-RECYCLED HUMANITY(CD)

En 8-låtars skiva fylld med snabb punkrock på ungerskt vis. Ni vet ju att ungerska inte är så långt från det finska språket och det kanske hörs..eller inte! Skitsamma för det är riktigt bra punkrock som spelas på skivan. De 8 låtarna är alla små hits i sig själv och jag bara vill höra mer och mer. Det finns influenser fån många olika bra punkband och jag tycker att basslingan i Birka påminner mig om Exploited till exempel men när de sjunger på ungerska så får de en egen stil. Kanske inte i hemlandet men i mina öron får de det.  Skivan spelades in 2018 och jag skulle gärna vilja ha mer och ny musik från gruppen. Det känns otroligt äkta när punk kommer från de forna öststaterna och Ungern är väl ett land som det känns som om folket är lite förtryckt och där tror jag att denna skiva med Barackca kan hjälpa upp motståndet mot politikerna lite grand. 10/4-2024

BARACKCA-RECYCLED HUMANITY(CD)

An 8-track record filled with fast punkrock in the Hungarian way. You know that Hungarian is not so far from the Finnish language and you can hear it. or not! the same because it's really good punk rock which is played on the record. The 8 songs are all small hits in itself and I just want to hear more and more. There are influences from many different good punk bands and I think that the bassline in Birka reminds me about Exploited for example but when they sing in Hungarian so do they get an own style. Maybe not in their home country, but in my ears they do. The album was recorded in 2018 and I would love to have more and new music from the group. It feels incredibly real when punk comes from the former eastern states and Hungary is a country that it feels like if the people are a little bit oppressed and there I think that this record with Barackca can help up the resistance against the politicians a little. 10/4-2024
