ATOMIC SWING-THE BROKEN HABANAS(CD-NATIONAL RECORDS NATCD 065) Efter nio år kommer Atomic Swing tillbaka. Inte så mycket har hänt egentligen för det är ungefär samma sound som Atomic kör med, omslaget ser nästan ut som deras första skiva. Men i och med detta låter det nästan som om jag hatar dem. Absolut inte för Niclas Frisk, frontfiguren i Atomic, med sin speciella röst lyfter detta riktigt bra. Hans röst får musiken att få sitt speciella sound och deras pop låter mycket fräsch egentligen. Blanda 60-tal, Beatles-pop och lite new wave så har ni fått den perfekta blandningen. Man blir glad av deras musik på något sätt och det är väl det som pop är till för eller?(SJU) 5/5-06 |

Not so much have happened because it´s the same sound as they had before, the cover looks like their first CD. But with all this it sounds like if I hate them. Absolutely not because Niclas Frisk, the frontfigure in Atomic, with his special voice lifts this to something really good. His voice gets the music get their special sound and their pop sounds really fresh. Mix 60´s, Beatles-pop and some new wave and then you have get the perfect mix. You get happy of their music in some way and that´s what pop is existing misn´t it?(SEVEN) 5/5-06 |
