ANÖJD-STILL STANDING(DIGITAL SINGEL)

Den här låten och några till ska troligen bli ett fysiskt släpp men vi börjar med den här låten. Jag gillar det jag hör för det är svårt att sätta in i en genre egentligen. Visst är det hård rock men det låter inte som andra band. Det finns influenser från Electric Boys, Alice Cooper och Thin Lizzy(gitarren) och så mycket annat och det känns som om gruppen sammanfattar sina influenser på ett bra sätt med denna låt. Så det känns inte på något sätt bra att nämna de grupperna för det kanske förvillar men jag menar att de har ett brett spektrum sin musik. En lättrallad låt på något sätt eller rättare sagt det är lätt att falla in i låtens rytm på något sätt.  Jag tycker alltid det är svårt att bedöma en grupp på bara en låt men det ska ju komma mera så vi får väl återkomma till Anöjd efter hand. Tomas skulle skicka deras första skiva så den kommer jag att recensera också. Men det ska bli intressant att fortsätta följa den här gruppen och på Still Standing gillar jag verkligen gitarren. 13/1-2023

This song and a few more are likely to be a physical release but we'll start with this song. I like what I hear because it's hard to put into a genre really. Sure it's hard rock but it doesn't sound like other bands. There are influences from the Electric Boys, Alice Cooper and Thin Lizzy(the guitar) and so much more and it feels like the group sums up their influences in a good way with this song. So it doesn't feel good in any way to mention those groups because it might confuse but I mean they have a wide range of music in their music. A song easy to sing along with in some way or rather it's easy to fall into the rhythm of the song in some way. I always find it difficult to judge a group on just one song, but there will be more to come, so we will have to return to Anöjd in due course. Tomas was going to send their first record so I will review it as well. But it will be interesting to continue to follow this group and on Still Standing I really like the guitar. 13/1-2023

ANÖJD-MUSICKNESS(LP)

Den här skivan kom ut 2019 men jag fick skivan ändå och det ska bli kul att höra mer än en låt med gruppen. Jag tycker bara att titeln på skivan är superb: Musickness…..Många trevliga eller rättare sagt intressanta titlar som Spoils of war, Fuck Bomb, Any war cry och Greedy Minds. Det känns som om texterna betyder en hel del för gruppen…Det roliga med Anöjd är att de säkert kan attrahera många olika typer av musikälskare för det är nästan omöjligt att sätta de i ett fack. Visst det är hårdare musik men jag tycker mig höra Iggy Pop, Union Carbide på samma gång som det hörs metallstänk mest hela tiden. Sångarens röst påminner mig om en gammal grupp som hette All Steel coaches faktiskt och de är ju en av mina favoritgrupper så det gör ju att jag gillar detta ännu mer. Känns väldigt lekfullt och det blir ju lätt så när det blandas en massa olika stilar utan att på något sätt bli någon konstig musik. Men det jag gillar mest är nog sångarens röst för den växer för varje låt och  Musickness har ett passande namn för det är sjukt bra musiker och allt detta kryddas med bra texter och riktigt bra hårda låtar. En av mina favoritlåtar är den lite lugnare Chorusless life och då menar jag inte att det är en blad utan en riktigt bra suggestiv låt. Sångaren har en röst som ibland går över till en röst lik Freddie Wadling och ni förstår att detta är en salig blandning men riktigt intressant skiva. Köp om ni har möjlighet! 18/1-2023

ANÖJD-MUSICKNESS(LP)

This record came out in 2019 but I got the record anyway and it'll be fun to hear more than one song with the group. I just think the title of the record is superb: Musickness..... Many nice or rather interesting titles such as Spoils of war, Fuck Bomb, Any war cry and Greedy Minds. I feel like the lyrics mean a lot to the group... The funny thing about Anöjd is that they can certainly attract many different types of music lovers because it is almost impossible to put them in a compartment. Sure it's harder music but I find myself hearing Iggy Pop, Union Carbide at the same time as there's metal splashes heard most of the time. The singer's voice reminds me of an old group called All Steel coaches actually and they are one of my favorite groups so it makes me like this even more. Feels very playful and it becomes easy so when it mixes a lot of different styles without in any way becoming any strange music. But what I like most is probably the singer's voice because it grows with each song and Musickness has a fitting name because it's a really good musician and all of this is spiced up with good lyrics and really good hard songs. One of my favorite songs is the slightly calmer Chorusless life and I don't mean it's a so soft but a really good suggestive song. The singer has a voice that sometimes transitions to a voice similar to Freddie Wadling and you see that this is a blissful mix but really interesting record.
