AFI-A RETROSPECTIVE(CD-NITRO RECORDS 15859-2/SOUND POLLUTION) En samling med materialet innan de blev kända för alla. Alltså de skivorna innan majorlabelens tid, på Nitro Records.  De har ju alltid låtit som Offspring tycker jag och mycket beror väl på sången. Här får vi utvalda låtar från alla deras releaeser och intressantast för min del är vinyllåten från Very produ of ya och låtarna från EP:n All hallow. Varför har de inte fyllt skivan mer än de 38 minuter som finns här. De kunde fyllt den med dubbelt så mycket för så pass mycket tycker jag nog att AFI har att ösa ifrån.  Ganska vass punk men en hel del skulle avfärda de som kommersiell skitpunk men det är väl inte fult att leva på sin musik även om det är punk, bara man inte trampar på varandra.(ÅTTA) 19/11-04

They always sounded like Offspring I think and much is depending on the vocals. Here we got some chosen songs from all of their releases and most interesting for me is the vinylsong from Very proud of Ya and the songs from the EP All hallow. Why haven´t they filled the record more than the 38 minutes it is now. They could doubled it because so much I think that AFI have to take from. Really sharp punk is it but many people should surely say that this is commercial punkcrap but it´s not wrong to live on music even if it´s punk, as long as you don´t stamp on people.(EIGHT) 19/11-04

AFI-THE ART OF DROWNING(CD-NITRO/HOK/MNW) Det låter mycket Offspring om denna grupp eftersom de ligger på Dexters(Offspring-sångaren) skivbolag. 4 skivor innan som låter på samma sätt. Snygga körer och bra melodier på dessa 14 låtar som bara växer för varje lyssning. Jag kan inte säga att det är USHC utan det är bra punk helt enkelt. Man får mersmak och vill bara höra nästa album för AFI´s punk är bland det bättre jag hört i år....(NIO)

 AFI-THE ART OF DROWNING(CD-NITRO/HOK/MNW) It sounds much Offspring of this group and they is on dexter Hollands label Nitro so it´s so peculiar. 4 records before and they sound in the same way. Very nice choirs and melodic punkrock and these 14 songs growns for every time I hear the record. I cannot say that it is USHC but I can say tha´ it´s very good punkrock. I only wnat to hear more of this group. Please AFI do one more record because this is one of the best punkrock records I have heard this year(NINE)
