Jag blir lika glad och lika överraskad varje gång jag tänker på att de bara är två medlemmar och att det kan låta så mycket. Denna gång låter det inte mindre och de här grabbarna blir inte mindre arga heller , så mycket kan jag säga. Anarchopunk av allra högsta klass och en grupp som Active Minds kan man lita på. De berättar för alla vad de känner och vad de tycker är fel här i världen och är inte rädda för att berätta det. Skulle någon tro att de var trötta på att vara arga så blir ni positivt överraskade för de visar inga ålderstecken trots att de spelat ihop i 40 år nu. Det är alltid en ynnest att sätta på en skiva med gruppen för det finns ingenting här som skulle få mig att tro att deras känslor är oäkta utan här är endas pur ilska rakt igenom. Men de glömmer inte melodier och en låt som Terrorvision har mycket av detta. Jag skulle nästan kunna säga att detta är ett av deras starkaste album hittills om inte det bästa. Så det borde inte finnas några tveksamheter om att köpa den här skivan och att vi hoppas på 40 år till med deras fantastiska punk/hardcore. 30/3-2026

I am just as happy and just as surprised every time I think that they are only two members and that it can sound so much. This time it doesn't sound any less and these guys don't get any less angry either, that much I can say. Anarchopunk of the very highest class and a group like Active Minds can be trusted. They tell everyone what they feel and what they think is wrong in this world and are not afraid to tell them. Should anyone think that they were tired of being angry, you will be pleasantly surprised because they show no signs of age even though they have played together for 40 years now. It is always a favor to put on a record with the group because there is nothing here that would make me think that their feelings are inauthentic but here is only pure anger all the way through. But they don't forget melodies and a song like Terrorvision has a lot of this. I could almost say that this is one of their strongest albums so far, if not the best. So there should be no doubts about buying this record and that we hope for 40 more years with their fantastic punk/hardcore. 30/3-2026

Älskar den här skivan……Pivnica inleder den och deras 8 låtar som är inspelade 2022 är riktiga höjdare. Det är tuff hardcore och detta med texter på hemspråket men de är översatta på innerbladet och det är ju aldrig fel. De har ett sådant där brutalt sound där det som hörs mest är trummor och sång och sångaren låter förbannad. Det har de all rätt att vara för världen är inte rättvis precis och Pivnica pekar på det i sina texter och det är riktigt trevligt med nya tjeckiska band för de har och har haft en rik och bra punkscen. Active Minds har jag ju hört en hel del innan och har mycket med dem men det är alltid välkommet med ny musik från denna tvåmannagrupp. De sju låtarnas texter är inga muntra historier eller vad sägs om låttitlar som Excessive affluence is raping the earth.Discuss., Wien a child lives with abuse och Reaping what you sow. Jag blir lika förundrad varje gång jag lyssnar på dem eftersom de bara är två och låter såpass mycket….så jävla fräckt. Riktigt bra hardcore och ett av Storbritanniens mest intressanta band..helt klart. Har ni inte hört gör det med den här skivan så får ni Pivnica på köpet. 3/7-2023

PIVNICA/ACTIVE MINDS-SPLIT(PAPAGAJUV HLSATEL PH 298)

Love this record...... Pivnica starts it and their 8 songs recorded in 2022 are real highlights. It's tough hardcore and this with lyrics in the home language but they are translated on the inner sheet and it's never wrong. They have one of those brutal sounds where what is heard most is drums and vocals and the singer sounds. They have every right to be because the world is not fair exactly and Pivnica points to that in their lyrics and it is really nice with new Czech bands because they have and have had a rich and good punk scene. Active Minds I have heard a lot before and have a lot with them, but it is always welcome with new music from this two-man group. The seven songs' lyrics are not cheerful stories or how about song titles like Excessive affluence is raping the earth. Discuss., Vienna a child lives with abuse and Reaping what you sow. I get just as amazed every time I listen to them because they are only two and sound so much....so fucking cool. Really good hardcore and one of Britain's most interesting bands. Clearly. If you haven't heard do it with this album, you get Pivnica for free. 3/7-2023

ACTIVE MINDS-RELIGION IS NONSENSE(10-LOONY TUNES TUNE53)

Med bara två medlemmar kan man skapa oväsen också. Eller vad sägs om en av mina absoluta anarkofavoritpunkgrupper Active Minds. En snygg 10-tummare med en backpatch på köpet. Kan inte bli mycket bättre och deras snabba punk/hardcore är underbar att lyssna till och deras texter är alltid lyssningsvärda och alla punkare med lite aktning och som inte hört denna grupp men gillar Crass, Conflict och den typen av musik måste låna sina öron till denna grupp. Det finns ingen återvändo när ni första gången har lyssnat på dem och man vill bara ha mer av dem. The word of the Father skiljer sig lite mot de andra hårdare låtarna för den är en melodisk indiepunkliknande sak i sann Husker Du-anda. Jag gillar verkligen deras sound och att man kan låta såhär med endast två medlemmar.  22/1-2020

With only two members you can create noise too. Or how about one of my absolute anarcho favorite point groups Active Minds. A nice 10-inch with a backpatch on the purchase. Can't get much better and their fast punk / hardcore is great to listen to and their lyrics are always listenable and all punks with little regard and who haven't heard this group but like Crass, Conflict and that kind of music have to lend their ears to this group. There is no turning back when you first listened to them and you just want more of them. The word of the Father differs slightly from the other harder songs because it is a melodic indie-punk-like thing in true Husker Du spirit. I really like their sound and that you can sound like this with only two members si nice. 22/1-2020
