Green and grey skrek de alltmer fulla människorna bredvid oss efter hela konserten och blev mer och mer besvikna efter som tiden gick. Låten kom aldrig och besvikelsen var stor i alla hos en av killarna bredvid oss. Men vi fick höra en del gamla klassiker som Poison Street, Get me out, White coats, No rest for the wicked och framförallt Here comes the war och Vagabonds. Den senare var väl den låten som rev ner mest applådåskor och chans till att riva stället tillsammans med 51st state.
Det var den femte gången jag såg New Model Army och jag har aldrig gått besviken från någon av deras konserter och gjorde det inte denna gång heller. Visst lever de en del på gamla låtar men de senare skivorna har varit bra även om de inte haft några direkta hitar som de gamla skivorna men en låt som satt sig på nya skivan Carnival är Another Imperial Day som är riktigt bra. Man känner att glöden är lika stor som den alltid varit hos Justin Sullivan trots att han hållit på med detta i över 25 år och det är imponerande. Vad som också är imponerande är den klick av publiken som kanske består av 6-8 människor som kan varenda textrad och dansar med i låtarna och gör rörelser precis som om de har hört detta tusen gånger förut. Det har de säkert också och jag tror att det är några av New Model Armys kända fans som åker med dem överallt. Man glömmer nästan att titta på bandet och tittar nästan på deras uppvisning istället.
Det är ett nytt band som Justin ställer på benen bakom sig men de verkar samspelta och har ett tyngre sound än de har på skiva men det viktigaste av allt är att de verkar ha kul på scenen och Justin verkar helt slut efter konserten. Han säger också att de funnits i 25 år men kommer att hålla på med detta för alltid....Jag hoppas inte att det dröjer så lång tid till nästa gång de kommer och besöker oss för New Model Army är alltid en svettig upplevelse men en väldigt angenäm sådan.

Green and grey shouts the more and more drunk people on our side during the whole concert and they got more and more disappointed during the time went on. The song never came and the disappointemt was big among one of the guys there. But we came to hear some old classics like Poison Street, Get me out, White coats, No rest for the wicked and songs like Here comes the war and Vagabonds. The later one was the song which taken down the biggest applues and chances to tear the place part together with 51st state.
It was the fifth time I saw New Mode Army and I have never ever became disappointed on any of their concerts andI wasn´t that this time either. Sure they live on some of their old songs but the last records have been good also even if they haven´t had any big hits as on the old records but one of the songs which is really good on the new record Carnival is Another Imperial Day which is really good. You can feel that the heat is as big as before even if Justin Sullivan have done this for over 25 years and that´s impressing. Which also is impressing is the part of the audience of 6-8 persons which can all lyrics and dance along in the songs and make moves as they have seen and heard this 1000 times before. They have surely done that too and I think this is some of New Model Armys fans which is going around with the band everywhere. You almost forget to look on the band and I look on those people and their show instead.
It´s a new lineup that Justin put on stage behind him but they seems to play well together na dthey have an heavier sound than they have on the records and the most important is that they seems to have fun on stage. Justin seems to be really tired after the concert. He also say that they have done this for over 25 years and that they will do this for ever and ever.....I hope it don´t take too long until they visit us the next time because New Model Army is always a sweaty experience but a very nice experience every time I see them.
