History?

-Yes there is a history and it started in 1995, here in Austin, TX.

Please tell me a little about every member in the group, age families, work(???), interests and something bad about every one?

-Bones and Marty started the band, then EVO (bass player) and Mike Brat (drummer) joined the LCB Army last year in August. Bones DeLarge- he works at a sub-shop and likes alcohol... alot. Marty Volume- drives a cab and likes other things, ecspecially rock n roll. EVO- he's a teacher with way too much energy for a normal veck. Mike Brat- he used to work as a chemist and now has a son. The bad things cannot be included for public consumption.

Lower Class Brats, where does the name come from?

-The LCB name came from inside fucked up minds and also from the Germs' liner notes.

I have "Plot ...." and "Clockwork singles", what have you done more and how can I get it?

-They just released their newest full-length "A Class Of Our Own", on Punkcore Records. This fucking punk earblast can be found online, or if you're lucky, at a cool record store.

You said that you have known about my zine for some years, how did you manage to see it?

-Bones has come in direct contact with Skrutt for many years now, but is unaware of the slovo's meaning.

Is there any good zines around right now, on the web or on paper?

-The BRAT's have seen many zines in the scene, but unfortunately cannot remember a single title... only that they had lots of pictures.

What shall a good zine contain?

-Lots of pictures! Add any quality commentary, like this one, and you got a good start.

Is it many interviews? Is it boring?

-Not too many, and not too little. It's never boring!

Which is the questions you never get but you want to have? Please ask it and answer it?

-Question: Has any one ever seen a dead body?       Answer: Yes.

You live in Austin Texas, how is it?

-Austin has alot of bands, alot of different food, and way too many fucking hippies and the like around here. They hate hippies and their friends.

How about racism in Austin? Is it much? What shall we do about it?

-No racism in Austin. If there was, LCB would quietly corner the ignorance and proceed to kick their faces in repeatedly. If there was anything left, then they would try to reason with them.

How did you react when the terrorist attack was? With anger fear or what?

-Their reaction was not applicable. They said they showed no fear.

And when they started bombing Iraq?

-The US bombed Iraq, that is a fact. They don't really give a shit about them, but the BRATS really like to drink!

What about Bush?

-Bush has become a puppet, helplessly prodded along an ever-changing path with no end in sight. It is impossible to change course.

Does music and politics goes hand in hand?

-The BRAT's music does not involve politics.

Which are the best politrical band in the world?

-Not sure, but the LCB is the best non-political band! Oi!

Is there any good bands in USA right now?

-One person's favourite is another one's shit.

What do you know about Sweden? What is typical swedish?

-Rumour has it that most Swedish women are blond and beautiful, and that your country makes Swedish Fish..

Have you heard any good swedish bands worth to mention?

-PF Commando, Brulbajz, Lädernunnan, Kriminella Gitarrer, etc...

You´re on Punkcore how is it, is it a good label? What´s the best and what´the worst of being on a smaller label?

-Punkcore is a patient hard-working New York based label that puts forth effort towards our goals. Dave Punkcore is kind of like The Starchild! We are lucky.

What does the word punk mean to you, is it only a word or is it a lifestyle?

-Punk is like... FUCK OFF!

How would you describe your music in three words?

-Clockwork PUNK Rock

Please rank your five favourite records, 5 favourite concerts and five most important things in life?

-Records: Bloodless Pharaohs, Motorhead, old Oi comps...    concerts: Slayer(86'), Exploited(89'), they can't remember the rest.     things: health, focus, ability, and attitude.

First, last and most expensive record ever bought?

-Not sure.

Where do you stand when we´re talking about mp3 and that the labels will go bankrupt? Do you download yourself?

-No one has thought about the whole downloading vesch, so like it doesn't really matter to them.

How is a good gig with Lower Class Brats? Is it much people up in stage?

-A good gig could be real crowded or not so crowded, but those damn kids will get up on stage and sing , sing, sing... just go crazy and create much chaos. Lots of fun for all!

Do you have good contact with your fans? In which way?

-Yes, through our website and just talking to fans and the like.

You have a website, is it important? What´s the best with having a website?

-Yes, keeping droogs informed with the latest greatest cal.

Have you been outside USA and played, where is best?

-Europe was fun for Bones and Marty. EVO and Mike Brat have yet to tolchock that country... soon they'll all be ripping up Japan!

Is it any difference of the audience when you compare USA:s audience and outside USA?

-All audiences are different. LCB stays the same.

Which are the futureplans for the band?

-BRATS will tour the west coast USA in December with Defiance. They will record some new songs for a new 7" to be released in the next 6 months. They will tour Japan in March, Europe, Russia, and the UK in the summer, and a big 2 month tour of USA and Canada in late summer/fall. Get fucked up and do things... Lots of shit to keep them busy!

-Stay out of jail and talk to the band about a lot of shit.
