==========================================

History?

Left alone started in 1996 in Wilmington California a little town 30

min south of Los Angeles. In the past 10 years we not changed our sound

and have stayed with play punk/ska

Please tell me a little about every member, age, family, work, interests and

something bad about every one?

- Ram Rod is 23 and is into working on cars and is always fixing

something. The one bad thing about Ram is that he eats McDonalds 3 times

a day. Kat is 19 and does not really do much, he lives at home with his

parents and smokes to much weed.

Lil Rudy our new bass player is 18 right out of high school and I think the only bad thing about him is that he does not really talk.

I'm 28 and drink like a fish we are lucky enough to no work at this time....and boy

are we lucky!!!

You have a hatesong to emocore, is it so fucking bad? You aren’t compared with

emobands?

-Emo blows and that's that. I'm just not down with it. I can't get over the hair and

all the girl pants.

Is there any other bands youīre being compared with?

Uum we get the Rancid thing, Elvis Costello, Operation Ivy, the Clash and

sometimes Swingin Utters

Do you care about reviews?

-Yes and no I mean itīs nice to read that people get what you are trying

to do and on the other hand it sucks when someone rips your band apart but

overall does it really matter what people think? No as long as we are happy with

what we do that's good enough for us

Left Alone, where did the name come from?

-Itīs the story of my life and comes from things I went thru and still go thru every

day.

Whatīs the best and the worst with being a punkband?

-Thereīs nothing bad about being in a punk band and the best thing is we

get to do what we want all the time. I feel punk is the only way I was able to find

a place where I fit in.

How is it to live in USA today?

-Living in the USA is good cause I've lived else where and even thou

things are bad at times and their always some conflict and the who

politics side sucks I'd rather live here than anywhere else.

What about your government?

- I'm not a fan

Do you think that music and politics goes hand in hand?

-I think it could only if its done with taste.

Best political band?

-Armistice

Is there any good bands in your homecountry now?

-Yes their are the Phenomenauts, the Teenage Harlets, the Triggers, I can go on

and on

What do you know about Sweden?

-I love Sweden actually the first time I ever saw snow was while on tour with the Horrorpops in Sweden.

Have you heard any good swedish bands?

-No I can't say that I have

What does punk mean to you, is it only a word or is it a lifestyle?

-Lifestyle but itīs something I don't set out to do its just in my opinion in you. Its

how you go about doing things. I've been a punk way before I was in the band

its just where I fit in.

You have Tim Armstrong and Patricia Day on guest vocals, howcome?

- It was these ideas I had before we recorded the record. I was at Tims

house showing him some of our new songs and he liked city to city so I

asked him if he wanted to sing on it and he did. Patricia on the other

had while on tour I had her listen to the song (I had an old

version recorded) and well I always wanted to sing it with a girl and

what better than her? We recorded to version in English and Spanish. Sh

also wrote the chorus for it.

You have a little bit different lineup with bass, guitar, drums and a

saxophone, you have never thought of taking a guitarplayer more?

-Yes and no I would like to add one but its another guy in the van more

equipment and well we have been doing it like this for years so why change now.

Is it many interviews? Is it boring?

-I like interviews they are not boring maybe of I did 10 a day then it would get

lame.

Which is the question you never get, please ask it and answer it?

-Ummmm do you cry when you are alone because you write such sad songs....

the answer is yes yes I do hahahaha.

Is it any chance to see you in Sweden soon?
