GUN CLUB-FIRE OF LOVE(DVD CHERRY RED CRDVD 153) Ingen sjunger blues som Jeffrey Lee Pierce sjunger ju Thåström och det kanske är sant. Två konserter med denne mytomspunne artist och grupp. Första är en konsert från Hacienda 1983. Bilden är väl OK och ljudet likaså och gruppens förmåga att trollbinda publiken får man en inblick i här. Jag gillar det jag ser och här och Jeffrey var en gudabenådad artist i sina bästa stunder. Andra konserten är från Madrid 1985 och där är det faktiskt mycket bättre bild och bättre låtval tycker jag eftersom min favoritlåt Sex Beat är med. Two concert with the myth artist and his group. First out is a concert from Haciende 1983. The picture quality is OK and the sound also and the groups talent to catch the audiences interest you get a look at here. I like the things I see and Jeffrey was a really good artist in his best moments. The second concert is from Madrid 1985 and here it´s a lot better picture quality and songchoice I think because my favouritesong Sex Beat is on this recording and an interview with the group we get too.(SIX) 21/2-07 |

GUN CLUB-LIVE AT THE HACIENDA(DVD-CHERRY RED CRDVD 122) Det är inte klokt vad mycket gele/tupering det krävdes på den tiden. Ingen sjunger blues som Jeffrey Lee sjunger Thåström, ingen tuperar håret som Jeffrey Lee skulle jag vilja kontra med. På 1983 spelning så är det mycket tupering som är gjord. Visst är det en hel del bra låtar och ljudet/bilden är Ok men är det så intressant att sitta och titta 23 år efter detta spelades in. Jodå för riktiga fans är detta riktigt trevligt och detsamma gäller spelningen från 1984. En hel del bra låtar kommer fram här och självklart är låtar som Fire of Love, Sex Beat och Death Party med.(SEX) 9/5-06 |

Noone sings the blues as Jeffrey Lee sings Thåström but no one combs his hair like Jeffrey Lee In would say. In 1983s gig it´s so much combing done and his hair is really high. Sure there is some good songs here and the sound/picture is OK but is so interesting to sit and look at the gig 23 years after it was done. Yeah for real fans it´s really nice and the same is for the gig from 1984. A whole lot of good songs is coming here and off course it´s songs like Fire of Love, Sex Beat and Death Party which are the songs.(SIX) 9/5-06 |
