Disorder have been with us for 25 years now and they don´t seem to want to stop playing so we must have them in our punkworld for 25 years more, or? Taf answers my questions here in the middle of February.

For how long have Disorder been in the punkbusiness now?

-Since 1980.

Have you been playing all the time or do you have had any break?

-I joined the band in 1982 and it's been going all the time with me and various other down and outs who I recruited along the way.

Which are the members now?

-TAF-guitar and vocals.

NICK-bass guitar and cheap red wine.

JOHN-drums and cider drinking.

How would you describe your music in three words?

What does punk mean to you, is it only a word or is it a lifestyle?

-It means to not accept the lies that are told to us by the government and making uncompromising music without trying to change your music just to sell more records and not to follow the latest trend. It is my lifestyle.

Please tell me a little about every member in the group now, name, age, work, family, interests and something bad about every one?

-NICK age 42, plays the bass, he is self employed rubbish collector, he does garden clearances and house clearances and takes your old fridges and cookers to the rubbish tip. Sometimes me and John help him.  He is a drunk and a womaniser, he never goes to Church. He plays bass in BAD BLOOD as well. He has a 4 year old half Swedish daughter, he never buys her any toys.

JOHN age 36, plays drums, he does building and labouring work, but he is usually unemployed because he is lazy. He is indoctrinating his two daughters into the evil ways of PUNK.

TAF age 44, guitar and vocals. I work for the post office and for the recycling company, I am employed by agencies so it is hard (vikartjeneste). Like now I have no job, no money, no pot. I am married, no kids. I am stingy.

What´s the difference between playing today and comparing with when you started to play?

-About 25 years.

How does the Disorder audience look like?

A mixture really, some long hair some short hair, punx with big mohicans and studs, some straight looking, they are usually drunk.

Which is the most peculiar thing which have happened during your career?

-When we went to Gronningen once we could sleep in a squat, in the night a girl came around waking everybody up and she had a big knife, she was accusing us all of stealing her dog...she was fucked up on speed.

Which is the most peculiar review you ever have got?

-In an american fanzine when Sverre from the DEAD GERARDSENS said lots of shit about me, like I am kind of drunk and kind of stupid, or something, but he is really stupid, when ORAL CONSTITUTION sent 20 records to sell as a benefit for BLITZ in Oslo, then he took all of them and destroyed them and put them in the bin.  Like a small communist government censorship. I am writing this for revenge, but it is really true.  He didn't like ORAL CONSTITUTION record cover with a pierced penis on one side and a pierced vagina on the other side.

The new CD Kamikaze have been recorded in many different studios and in different times, for how long time?

-Over about 8 years

The sound quality is different between many of the songs, was it something you wanted to have or...?

-Yes, why should it be the same boring sound all the way through.

Is there any good bands in England right now?

How is it to live in England right now(or where do you live?)

-I live in Bristol it is dirty and a lot of people have no money.  There is a big crack and heroin and prostitution and street crime problem.  The police are doing a bad job here. There are a lot of unemployed people with no money.

You lived in Norway for a while, why?

-I was depressed of Bristol.

Do you remember when you played in Sweden many years ago with Tatuerade Snutkukar(TASK) and their singer Sören singed in that way so his stomach began to ache?

-Yes he had to go to hospital.

Which are your brightest memories of Sweden otherwise?

The rather unfriendly "BULLY BOY" police, who picked on us because they are jealous of our free spirit. Also a very good squat somewhere that I can't remember, it was burned by nazis but we still had a punk festival there, it was great, lots of homemade kirsebaer vin....

Have you heard any swedish bands worth to mention?

-Tatuerade snutkuker, Warcollapse, Ebba Grön...It's a long time ago, I can't remember the names. 3 way cum was good.

Please tell me a little about the song "Svenska Tull"?

-It's about when we went to Gothenburg on the boat in the end of July 2001 and they stopped us and did a full cavity search because they are gay boys, then 5 weeks later we were on tour again, and again we went on the boat to Gothenburg and got stopped by the same tull (customs)inspectors, the tull boss said "full cavity searches all around", the same young Swedish tull police took me into the search room and told me that his boss is stupid and he does not want to search me again, I signed the cavity search paper and we were allowed to go, but the van keys were broken so we could not drive anywhere and they would not help us by using their telephone to get help.

Please rank your five favourite records, five favourite concerts and five most important things in life?

-I have no favourite records or concerts, important things are to have a place to live, food to eat, my wife, punk rock, freedom.

First, last and most expensive record ever bought?

-The first record I ever bought was "won't get fooled again/I don't know myself" by THE WHO in about 1970.

Most embarrassing record in your collection?

-BBC sound effects "Farmyard Animals"

The best record to ´have sex to?

-BBC sound effects "Farmyard Animals"

What do you think about that people download music, can you understand it?

-I think they are too stingy to buy the record.  How can they afford £2000 for a computer and don't want to pay £10 for a c.d? ya boo. Give us your money.

Do you download anything yourself?

-Only sexy fjortis bilder and animal sex.

Do you have any idea how many albums you have done , can you rank them here?

-About 10 albums, the best one is "PERDITION" then "UNDER THE SCALPEL BLADE" then the new one "KAMIKAZE...the album.

Which is your favourite Disorder-song?

How is a good Disorder gig?

-Full house, we play all the songs on the list without breaking anything, I can hear my instrument and the vocals on stage. No violence.

Futureplans for the band?

-We have a few gigs coming up this year in Berlin and U.K. Record a new album, I'm trying to make a live DVD but it is taking a long time.

For yourself?

-I must save up money for my wife to get a visa and come back to England.

-Words of wisdom?  Remember that drug dealers are not your friend and never will be your friend, they just want your money. Do not trust anybody, people change, they go crazy and become different people.

Something to add?

-If you go to Norway, take your own ganja with you because it is really expensive there, grow your own and don't buy from drug dealers.
