BRAINDEAD-DEMO(CD)

Braindead ska spela ihop Steve Ignorant och UK Subs i september och det säger väl lite grand. Det ser ut att vara ett ungt band…Jag tror att de kommer från Belgien och där finns ju en bra punkkultur genom åren. De har även spelat med band som Casualties, GBH, Exploited etc etc så jag har stora förhoppningar på dem nu.  Jag blir inte besviken när deras hembrända CD.n rullar på i min Cd-spelare för deras snabba punk påminner mig om när man de första gångerna hörde punkband i början av 80-talet och den typ man kallade UK 82 men det är inte så enkelt att det bara låter så för här finns modernare punkstilar också och ibland hörs lite Rancid, SLF och andra riktigt bra punkband. Jag är ju mer van att höra hardcore från Belgien men det var nog sent 90-tal för här blir det riktigt intressant snabb melodisk punkrock och jag hoppas verkligen att de gör slag i saken och ger ut detta som en riktigt fysisk utgåva. Med låttitlar som Burn the rich, Slave of society och Sick of it all så kvalar de i n till punkmusiken med goda betyg! 10/4-2024

Braindead will play together Steve Ignorant and UK Subs in September and that says a little. It looks to be a young band... I think they come from Belgium and there is a good punkculture through the years. They have also played with bands like Casualties, GBH, Exploited etc etc so I have high hopes for them now. I don ́t get disappointed when their homeburned CD is rolling on in my CD-player because their fast punk reminds me of when you first heard punk bands in the beginning of the 80 ́s and the type they called UK 82 but it ́s not so simple that it only sounds like that because here ́s more modern punkstyles too and sometimes you can hear a little Rancid, SLF and other really good punkbands. I'm more used to hear hardcore from Belgium but it was probably the late 90's because here it becomes really interesting fast melodic punk rock and I really hope that they do it and give out this as a really physical release. With songtitles like Burn the rich, Slave of society and Sick of it all, they qualify for punk music with good grades! 10/4-2024
