Detta blev en kväll med många äntligen. Detta blev första gången jag gått på Lisebergs satsning med konserter på Polketten istället för Taubescenen och att hela hamnområdet har rättigheter etc och det blir ett bra arrangemang. Äntligen också för att jag äntligen skulle få se Baboon Show som jag intervjuat två gånger innan men aldrig sett live.

Cecilia som sjunger har jag ju sett endast på livevideos och rockvideos innan men är den där friska fläkten även live som det har känts som och hon springer runt i publiken och och är ganska vild på scenen och det ger ju självklart en rockkonsert mer liv om så är fallt för det vore ju tråkigt om de bara stod still hela tiden. De har ju fått en ny gitarrist i Simon från DLK och han sköter sig riktigt bra och det är bra artelleri med låtar vi får höra den här kvällen innan regnet började strila ner precis innan konsertens slut.

Det är låtar som God Bless you all, Queen of the dagger, Gold, It´s a sin , Same old story och låten med det perfekta namnetYou got a problem without knowing it. Playing with Fire och Radio Rebelde. Det enda jag saknar denna kväll är väl Faster Faster Harder Harder(omn den inte spelades när jag var på toa men det tror jag inte). De har ju så många bra låtar att välja och vraka mellan så det kan inte vara svårt att hjålla en konsert med bandet eller rättare sagt det kanske är ganska svårt med tanke på vilka låtar man ska välja. Nu är min Baboon Show-live oskuld tagen och jag hoppas verkligen att jag får se dem fler gånger för det är en skön upplevelse att se denna grupp som kan blanda lugna låtar med metallåtar tillsammans med alla sina sköna punklåtar. En riktig konsert förutom Håkan Hellström för något år sedan och innan dessa var förra konserten innan pandemin....det måste bli fler! Ett av Sveriges bästa liveakter måste detta vara och jag förstår att de får många spelningar för det är sådana här band som gör det värt att lyssna till livemusik.

This was an evening with many at last. This was the first time I had attended Liseberg's venture with concerts at Polketten instead of the Taube stage and that the entire port area has rights to drink etc and it will be a good arrangement. Finally also because I would finally get to see the Baboon Show that I interviewed twice before but never watched live.

Cecilia who sings, I have seen only on live videos and rock videos before but is that fresh breath even live as it has felt like and she runs around in the audience and and is quite wild on stage and it obviously gives a rock concert more life if it is fallen because it would be boring if they just stood still all the time. They have got a new guitarist in Simon from DLK and he is doing really well and it is good artillery with songs we get to hear this evening before the rain started to fall just before the concert ends.

There are songs like God Bless you all, Queen of the dagger, Gold, It ́s a sin , Same old story and the song with the perfect name You got a problem without knowing it. Playing with Fire and Radio Rebelde. The only thing I miss this evening is Faster Faster Harder Harder (if it was not played when I was in the toilet but I do not think so). They have so many good songs to pick and choose from, so it can't be difficult to hold a concert with the band, or rather, it might be quite difficult considering which songs to choose. Now my Baboon Show live innocence is taken and I really hope I get to see them more times because it's a nice experience to see this group that can mix calm songs with metal songs together with all their beautiful punk songs. A real concert except for Håkan Hellström a few years ago and before these was the last concert before the pandemic.... There must be more! This must be one of Sweden's best live acts and I understand that they get many gigs because it is bands like this that make it worth listening to live music.
