Agitator is a young group that I really like, from the brittle voice to the fact that their music is really beautiful and good! Check out the group because you won't be disappointed. This will be a rather twisted interview but hold on. It is Felix who answers the questions. May 2025

Tell us a little story about how you came together and formed the band?

-An insane number of grapefruit crotch drives and a penchant for hitting shopping carts led me to shout out at a party that we were going to start the world's most aggressive band of all time. We looked out over the roundabout and felt like blue whales.

Tell us a little short or long about each member as well? Age, band before or next to etc etc ?

-Stig is very tall and handsome. Vilgot is very handsome and bends his back when he plays bass. Noel is very handsome and looks like a seal when he sleeps. Tage is very handsome and so does his amazing girlfriend. I'm very good-looking and enjoy spending time with my neat friends

Is it an advantage or a disadvantage that you are young, do you think, what are the advantages, and the disadvantages?

-It is an advantage, it makes us very nice and alert. It is usually said that the ligaments are sucked together when you turn 37.

Thinking about the name Agitator, there were many artists/bands that were called that before. Has anyone contacted you about this? How did the conversation go when you chose the name?

-It comes from the old Kingston school which makes it so damn cool. I don't know of any other band called Agitator, but if there is they are smart, and you can be happy about that. .

You have released two LPs within a year, how come there were two within a year?

-Because we did two records within a year, not two.

Do you think it's important to release physical records despite your age?

-Yes.

Adrian Recordings, is it a good label and do you have good cooperation with them?

-Yes. They are magnificent and we work very well together. They're like medicine to a kiosk that sells medicine, pharmacy, but they sell music instead. A suit is a suit if its an Italian one as they usually say in Italy.

Now you're going to be part of Foggy Day's debut festival, how does it feel?

-Very good, heard that it is on a peninsula, just one of those things.

How come you come to Gothenburg (Mölndal) and play on this one, how did it happen?

-I called, they answered. We are men with agency.

Do you have any relationship andwhat do you think about the other bands that will play?

-Crippa Attentat's old bassist is Vilgot and Noel's uncle. LOVE!

If someone forced you to say how you sound, how would you describe your music?

-Imagine that you are sitting with the one you love and suddenly get a fourteen kilo windmill in your face. You could call it confetti rain if you have that inclination, which we do.

Have you become the reviewers' favorites? Or how is it?

-The smart ones love us, the stupid ones hate us. One person said that I sang like a goat, it was quite funny. And incredibly mean.

How has the weirdest review sounded? Do you care about reviews?

-Someone compared us to the Svenska Björnstammen. It's a bit like comparing a tree trunk to a box of chocolates. Or minced meat with a car's windshield wipers. Well, reviews are fun, mostly because those who write are either kind, mean or incredibly bland. Addition - want to point out that I greatly appreciate Svenska Björnstammen, it swings like crazy, but how the connection between us and them has been drawn, you will have to ask an electrician, or Delphi's oracle.

You come from Stockholm, is that where it is best to play or do you have any other city that you really like to play in?

-Halmstad.

What is the strangest thing that has happened during a gig with you?

-I caught an earplug with my mouth. It was the craziest thing I've ever experienced. A true natural phenomenon.

What kind of people come to your concerts?

-Nice people who know how to draw a grindstone. They dress well and smile broadly and heartily.

Who in the band is it that writes the lyrics in the band?

-It's me!

Tell us a little about the following texts

Alla som jag kände dom försvann så jävla snabbt

-That's what happened! And what happened to everyone. For example, I was good friends with an alcoholic who wanted to be a pilot all his life. In the end, it turned out that he was colorblind, so he became a bus driver. Then he became an alcoholic.

Rivmärken

- A little fun pun in the chorus. If something drills into you, you die, it's a bit funny that it's a killer's gaze that drills. HAHA FUN!

Bleka rum

- One of my personal favorite lyrics. Imagine a really nice Texas motel with a wonderful Hawaiian waterbed in the middle, isn't that how a life should be lived?

To have politics in your music, that's not for you?

-No, it's boring, more fun to write about beach balls and flying gods I think. But there is probably someone else who thinks it's fun to write about what Carl Bildt ate for breakfast last week.

What else do you think about living in Sweden?

-Yes it's nice, they are going to open a new restaurant on Skånegatan. It's a bit festive, isn't it?

Any really good bands that you like from Sweden? From abroad?

-Fats Domino.

If you could choose five dream bands (both living and dead) to have a concert with you... Which five would you choose?

-Fats Domino. Charles Patton. Chief Keef. Paul Anka. King Tubby.

If someone paid you to make a cover record with four records... Which four songs would you have chosen to record then?( I meant of course four songs not records)

-Five Taube records we had done well. Throw in Pastel Blues and Raw Power and you have what we call a Cannon. The Idiot wouldn't be bad either.

Do you play any covers live?

-I dare not say that.

The five most important records ever released?

-At least it's not Led Zeppelin, SUE ME!

What is the idea now going forward with the album release, what comes next? What is next with the band?

-We will record an incredible album in Malmö in a few weeks. Slow Paris jazz with a spice measure of gunpowder. Singing about hell, fucking, tearing crutches off people, liver (the organ). Read about Mesopotamian live watching, there you have a Friday pleasure.

Future plans for yourself?

-Maybe get even better at cooking Thai food, you can never be too good at that.

Words of wisdom?

-Divination and divination rituals are a phenomenon that can be found in many different religions and are expressed in different ways.

Something to add?

-YES!
