Dan Blan here. So I'll be answering the questions to your interview myself. Just so you know, these are my answers and I'm not speaking on behalf of the other guys.
Thanks again
Dan Blan. October 2006

History?
-Uhh, well, Sulturro started about 3 years ago with me, Dan Blan (guitar), Jorj (bass and Vox) and Derek McDonald (now in Mendozza) on drums. The 3 where in a 5 piece band together called The Bolsheviks which broke up due to LSD - Lead Signer Disease. You know how it goes, booze, drugs, partying, egos and finally insanity. After the break up, the 3 of us decided to keep playing together. We also decided that Jorj should do the signing and that we would write all new materiel. That’s when Sulturro was born.
Within months, Derek left the band due to an injury. That’s when we brought Jay on board. We’ve been rockin’ shit pretty hard ever since. Our first album, The Beginning of the End… was just released in September of 2006. So far things are lookin good.

Please tell me a little about every member, age, family, work, interests and
something bad about every one?
-Dan Blan, 29, sign fabricator, Beer, beer & beer.
Jorj, 34, Mail man, boobies, boobies & boobies.
Jay, 30, U-haul guy, Boobies, beer & beer-boobs

Is there any other bands you´re being compared with?
-We’ve been compared to a lot of stuff, everything from Motorhead to Social Distortion.

Do you care about reviews?
-Honestly, not really. I don’t usually read reviews about restaurants or movies and I certainly don’t read music reviews. I guess I just don’t really care about what people have to say about things. I’d rather make up my own mind. However, I guess if someone is taking the time to review something, it shows that’s it’s either really good, or really bad. Either way, it gives some people something to write about and other people something to read about. I’m just not really that interested though.

You have some metal roots or?
-Definitely.

How would you describe your music in three words?
-Sludge Fuck Rock

How is it to live in your homecountry?
-I like it. It’s pretty mellow, people are generally pretty cool and there’s lots to see and do. Especially if you like winter. Oh and we have lots of great beer here.

What about the government?
-Yup, we have one.

Do you think that music and politics goes hand in hand?
-I guess every band needs something to sing about. Whether it’s partying, love, cars or politics or whatever. I tend to listen to the music first. Half the time I don't even know what they're singing about. I don’t care what you sing about, just don’t preach to me.

Best political band?
-I'm the wrong guy to ask. I am a fan of Propaghandi though.

Is there any good bands in your homecountry now?
-Sure there’s lots of great bands. Problem is, nobody knows about them. Might I suggest Spread Eagle, The Spitfires, Burning Down, The Smears and the list goes on. These are just some of my favourite local band that don’t get the notoriety they deserve.

What do you know about Sweden?
-Good massages (with a happy ending) and bikini teams.

Have you heard any good swedish bands?
-Yup.

What does punk mean to you, is it only a word or is it a lifestyle?
-Ha,now days it’s hard to tell. For me it’s a lifestyle. Personally it doesn’t mean being some dirty kid on the street with a 3 foot Mohawk though. I feel that it’s about being yourself, and not caring about what other people think. Do what you want and like what you want but more importantly, do it with conviction. That’s what really matters. It’s certainly not about fashion or what bands you listen to. I think that wearing some Nike shoes and a track suit to a Punk rock show is way more punk rock than some beat up converse all stars with a black band t-shirt held together by safety pins. Hell, some of the biggest punks I know don't even listen to punk rock.

Please rank your five favourite records, five favourite concerts and five
most important things in life?
-Oh man, there’s just way to much to choose from.

First, last and most expensive record ever bought?
-I have no idea.

Most embarrassing record in your collection?
-I don’t know, I usually don’t buy something unless I like it. I was given a Nickelback CD as a gift once from a family member. Smile, nod and say thank you.

Is My space a good place to get your music?
-I don’t usually look for music on Myspace however I have come across a few bands that I’m now a fan of. It seems to be pretty good place to put your music though. Thanks to Myspace we have fans all over the world and I’m doing things like interviews with Swedish punk rockers!

When do we see your next CD, is it the same sound??
-Wow, good question. It took over a year to get this one done so who knows. We don’t have any plans as of yet. I don’t imagine it will sound all that different seeing how’s it’ll still be the 3 of us playing the way we do. It’ll probably have some more variety on it though.

Is it many interviews? Is it boring?
-Interviews are fine. It’s all this typing that sucks.

Which is the question you never get, please ask it and answer it?
-Uhhh,

Is it any chance to see you in Sweden soon?
-As soon as you guys all chip in to buy us plane tickets, we’ll be there (wink, wink, nudge, nudge). Till then, I don’t know. We’d love to do it though.

Where is the best place to play?
-Anywhere that sells cheap beer.

How is a good gig with you?
-Not really sure, I’ve never seen us play. Other people tell me it’s great. I know one thing for sure, It's loud as hell.

The name where does it comes from?(yeah it´s a boring question but it´s
interesting)? ?
-Jorj just made up the word one day and it stuck.

What shall we do about all rascists?
-Which ones? The white ones, the black ones, the yellow ones, the brown ones or the green ones? (did I miss anything?) Either way, they all suck.

The best band in punkhistory?
-I don’t know, I’d say Minor Threat left a pretty long lasting impression on me.

The most important punksong?
-Punk Rock Girl (Dead Milkmen)

Futureplans for the band?
-We’d like to start touring more. We’re also trying to write a bunch of new stuff. And we’d like to look at more boobs.

For yourself?
-Probably go to the Liquor store and get some beer.

Wisdomword?
-Don’t pee on the electric fence.

Something to add?
-Seriously, it hurts.

Thanks Peter
