HONOR ROLL OF HITS 4 X EP SPLIT(LP-LÖVELY RECORDS)

Jag trodde att detta var en Ep med fyra band och en låt var men det en LP med en Ep var(tror jag). Jag älskar tanken eftersom jag tycker det är lite jobbigt med singlar och man får vända hela tiden och eftersom min skivspelare är lite dum så kan det bli så att eftersom den inte går tillbaka själv kan gå in på etikett med mera så detta är exemplariskt. Först ut är Statues med sina fyra låtar och deras musik är en stil säkert kan sättas in i indiestilen men ett riktigt larmig sådan och jag kommer lite att tänka på Dinosaur Jr när jag hör gitarren och de fyra låtarna faller mig verkligen i smaken och det låter riktigt bra! Mercury är nog min favoritlåt på skivan av Statues låtar för det är riktigt skönt indiestök med vässade gitarrer. GASP är nästa grupp ut med fyra låtar och jävlar vad man blir överkörd här. Någon slags noisig powerviolence indie eller vad fan man ska kalla det när Burning sätter igång. Längesedan man fick så mycket ljud slängt i ansiktet…riktigt fräck låt. Gina och Emmas röster passar så bra in i den råa musiken och de kompletterar varandra förträffligt. Som ett fet jävla smäll i ansiktet och den smällen känns skön! Tredje gruppen ut är Sweet Teeth och de får ”bara” tre låtar men det är inte vilka låtar som helst. Musikaliskt är det inte lika tufft som föregångarna här ovan och här får vi en blandning av garagerock och Husker Du skulle jag vilja säga och det är en komplimang…helst med Husker Du tycker jag. Det är lite samma sätt som gitarrer och sång låter men inte så att det stör för det behövs alltid ett ”nytt” Husker du. So fortsätt på den inslagna stilen tycker jag. Skulle gärna höra mer med gruppen. Sist ut är gruppen som får 9 låtar och det är legendariska F.I.L. (First in Line) som fanns i fyra-fem år i slutet av 90-talet och här kommer det nya låtar med gruppen och det är inte så länga stycken, de klockar in mellan 1.11 och 2.10 och det är så det ska vara tycker jag!  Med låttitlar som God Forgives,we don´t och Two side of the same coin knockar oss gruppen med sin grymma hardcore. Visst de har kommit upp i ålder såklart men viljan och de snabba låtarna är det inget fel på. För det är aggressivt som bara den och de korta låtarna gör att det känns ännu mer intensivt egentligen. Simplify är nog min favoritlåt på skivan och det är nog textraden med Eat The Rich som fastnar hos mig. Den här LP:n borde alla införskaffa som är nyfiken och gillar lite tuffare musik! Sådana här grepp gillar jag! 7/5-2024

I thought this was an EP with four bands and one song each, but it was an LP with one EP each( I think). I love the idea because I think it's a bit hard with singles and you have to turn all the time and because my turntable is a bit stupid it can be so that since it doesn't go back itself can go into label and more so this is exemplary. First out is Statues with their four songs and their music is a style surely can be put into the indiestyle but a really noisy one and I come a little to think of Dinosaur Jr when I hear the guitar and the four songs really falls into my taste and it sounds really good! Mercury is probably my favorite song on the record of Statues songs because it's really nice indie stuff with sharpened guitars. GASP is the next group out with four songs and damn what you get run over here. Some sort of noisy powerviolence indie or what the hell to call it when Burning starts. It's been a long time since I got so much noise thrown in my face... really cool song. Gina and Emma's voices fit so well into the raw music and they complement each other excellently. Like a fat fucking slap in the face and that slap feels good! The third group out is Sweet Teeth and they get "only" three songs but it ́s not just any songs. Musically it ́s not as tough as the predecessors above and here we get a mix of garagerock and Husker Du I would say and that ́s a compliment... preferably with Husker Du I think. It's a little bit the same way as guitars and vocals sound but not so that it disturbs because it always needs a "new" Husker du. So keep up the style, I think. Would love to hear more with the group. Last out is the group which gets 9 songs and it ́s the legendary F.I.L. (First in Line) which was around in four-five years in the end of the 90 ́s and here comes new songs with the group and it ́s not so long pieces, they clock in between 1.11 and 2.10 and that ́s the way it should be I think! With songtitles like God Forgives, we don ́t and Two side of the same coin the group knocks us out with their awesome hardcore. Sure they have come up in age of course but the will and the fast songs is it nothing wrong with. Because it's aggressive as hell and the short songs makes it feel even more intense really. Simplify is probably my favorite song on the record and it's probably the lyrics with Eat The Rich that sticks with me. This LP should be bought by everyone who is curious and likes a little tougher music! I like these kinds of grips! 7/5-2024
