VÄSTERBROKÖREN-GRÖNT OCH SVART(CD-VBKCD4)

Eftersom jag är gaisare så tycker jag att denna albumtitel är den bästa på många år….Jag vet att jag gillade förra skivan som jag fick med dem jävligt mycket så jag hade stora förhoppningar på denna med. Det kanske inte är punkrock precis men med precis samma attityd tycker jag att VBK går inför sin musik och jag förstår att Sundström har dessa som favoritband. Jag skulle kunna tänka mig att nya låtar med Nationalteatern skulle kunna låta på detta vis och det känns verkligen som om VBK för den svenska proggen framåt på sitt eget speciella sätt. De 10 låtarna är alla samlade på en skiva som jag inte vill skall ta slut men man kan ju inte få allt. 7/12-2011

Because I´m supporting the greenblack team GAIS so is this albums title perfect for me…I konow that I liked the latest record too ehich I got with them and I had really high hopes on thsi one too. It´s not punkrock precisely but I think that VBK really goes up into their music and I understand that Sundström have the band as a favouriteband. I could imagine that Nationalteatern would sound like these if they have done some new songs because VBK really puts the Swedish progressive music forward and it´s a record which I don´t want to end but you cannot get everything. 7/12-2011

Jag såg ett program om bandet och jag har intervjuat Stefan Sundström ett antal gånger och han har varje gång talat sig varm om Västerbrokören. Blev klart intresserad av gruppen och roligast av allt känns blandningen av åldrar i gruppen. Jag tänker på proggrupper från förr när man hör deras stil men även Sundström och andra vissångare av idag skulle säkert inte bli ledsna att bli jämförda med VBK. Jag tycker det är lite synd att det bara är nio låtar på skivan för jag skulle vilja höra mer av deras musik som bubblar av glädje(och ilska) och även om musiken inte låter punk utan mer traditionell musik så andas det punk utav bara fan. Även här tycker jag mej höra lite av samma stil som Perssons Pack hade och det är fräckt att använda ett så pass traditionellt instrument som dragspel i modern musik.7/9-04

I saw a program on television once and I have interviewed Stefan Sundström many times and everytime he speaks about Västerbrokören. I got really interested in the group and most fun is that it´s a mix of ages in the group. I think about progressive rockgroups from the past when I hear their style but also Sundström and other folkrocksingers wouldn´t be disappointed to be compared with VBK. I think it´s a shame that it is only nine songs on the record but I want to hear more music with their music which bubbles of happiness(and anger) and even if the music doesn´t sound punk and it´s more traditional style I think that they´re punk as fuck. And also here I can hear the same musicstyle as Perssons pack somewhere and it´s cool to use an old instrument as accordion in modern music.7/9-04
