UNIT LOST-ASFALT(CD-PUNKS & SKINS RECORDS PSUCD001)

Jag blir mycket positivt överraskad när Unit Losts nya skiva som är fylld med svensksjungna låtar dimper ned i min CD-spelare för det är mycket välspelad svensk streetpunk med små inslag av gammal god trallpunk. De säger själva att de inte är ett politsikt band men jag kan nog inte hålla med där eftersom alla texter har någon sorts politik i sig så politik är det allt men åt vilket håll. Jag tror mest att de är förbannade på mycket orättvisor. Till och med en gammal Cornelis-låt har fått punkliv här och det är Ballad om censuren som är den låten. Texterna berör och musiken likaså även om det kanske inte är något nytt de kommer med så gör de det jävligt bra. 25/11-2011

I become very positive when Unit Losts new record which is filled of swedishsinged songs comes down in my CD-player because it´s a really wellplayed streetpunk with some small traces of Swedish trallpunk. They say themselves that they´re not a political band but I cannot agree because every lyrics they do have some sort of politics in it but not so sure which way it is. I think they´re mostly pissed of because of all unjustice in the world. And even an old Cornelis-song have get some punklife here and it´s the song Ballad om censuren which is the song. The lyrics touches me and the music too even if they don´t come up with something new so do they their thing really good. 25/11-2011

Jag blir lite kluven till denna skiva eftersom detta bolag har gett ut Ultima Thule  Unit Lost verkar inte ha de tendenserna när man läser texterna men det är tråkigt att alltid ha det i bakhuvudet när man lyssnar på sådan här musik. Musikaliskt är det inget nytt utan det handlar om den vanliga streetpunken och sångaren låter så där gott ansträngd som man skall göra när det handlar om streetpunk. Som sjunde låt har de gjort en cover av en Ultima Thule låt, nja…..Skivan skulle få ett högt betyg om jag inte var tveksam till deras inställning men nu håller jag mig lite lägre.4/7-03

I´m a little bix mixed to this record because it´s released by a label which have released Ultima Thule. Unit Lost don´t seems to have those tendencies but it´s always boring to have that I your mind when you listen to this sort of music. Musically it´s nothing new and it´s all about the usual streetpunk and the singer sounds really odd and it should be that way when we´re talking about streetpunk. As a seventh song they have done a cover of an Ultima Thule song, no……The record would have a little bit higher grade if I wasn´t doubtful to their Ultimasong but now I´m a little bit lower. 4/7-03
