THEM-MANOR OF THE SE7EN GABLES(CD-SPV 286602/BORDER)

Skivan börjar med någon slags skräckfilmsaktig där det ingår barn i snacket och det är alltid ganska obehagligt! Det är snabbspelad thrashliknande metal som får mig att gå igång men det jag inte gillar riktigt med den här gruppen är deras sångare men efterhand så vänjer jag mig vid honom. Det jag gillar är körer, trummisen som får jobba som bara den och att det är låtar som man på samma gång kan headbanga till så kan man sjunga med i refränger utan problem. Så ni som gillar ganska tuff metal men inte riktigt vill ge er in i death/blackmetal världen så tror jag att Them är ett perfekt band för er att sätta tänderna i. Men hur tänkte de när de döpte sitt band till Them…det har ju funnits ett 60-talsband som hette så och de var ju inte så okända. 23/10-2018

The disc begins with some kind of horror movie-like, where it includes children in the scene and it is always quite unpleasant! It's a fast-paced thrash-like metal that makes me get started but what I do not really like with this group is their singer but afterwards I get used to him. What I like is the choirs, the drummer who gets to work as just that and there are songs that you can headbang at the same time, so you can sing in refrains without problems. So you guys like pretty tough metal but do not really want to give you into the death / blackmetal world, so I think Them is a perfect band for you to put your teeth in. But how did they think when they named their band to Them? There was a 60s band that was called and they were not so unknown. 23/10-2018
