SKAFIELD-MEMORIES IN MELODIES(CD-LONG BEACH RECORDS LBR E 013)

Ett åtta man starkt band och med det här namnet kan det väl bara handla om en sorts musik? Självklart är det skabetonad musik som spelas men med ett mer punkigt sound än många andra band även om blåssektionen framhäver musiken riktigt bra. Jag tycker de har fått till ett gäng punkpärlor och de spelar de med en stor energi och ibland lite aggressivt och det gillar jag skarpt. De låter aldrig blåset ta överhanden för det är gitarren som styr det andra och det gillar jag för annars kan det bli lite väl snäll musik men Skafield behåller punkens attityd och svänger till det på ett ypperligt sätt…1/9-2010

An eight man strong band and with this name it can only be some sort of music or? Of course it´s skastyled music which is played but with a more punky sound than many other bands even if the hornsection is doing a whole lot for the music. I think that they have got foreward some punkpearls and they plays with a lot of energy and a little bit aggressive and that I really like. They never let the horns take over the music because it´s the guitar which is showing us the way and that I really like because otherwise it becomes too nerdy music but Skafield take the punk´s attitude and swings this a lot.. 1/9-2010
