PARLOR-SOFTLY(LP-HELL VICE VICIOUS RECORDS)

Gruppen kommer från Frankrike och ja blev glad när jag fick detta paket eftersom jag trodde Frankrike var helt i karantän just nu och inte ens fick lägga på ett paket. Det är kanske inte hardcore i den bemärkning som många tänker sig utan här är mer en stökig hardcore…noisecore eller något sådant. Sångaren låter arg och hela bandet verkar förbannade på något sätt. En sångare som skriker ut sin ångest och i terapåeutisk synvinkel tror jag att han mår riktigt bra efter detta. Jag mår också ganska bra fast att man blir överkörd på detta sätt. Låter inte som något annat band egentligen och detta utan att vara udda egentligen. Jag är inte så bevandrad i denna typ av nosiecore eller vad man ska kalla det men jag gillar det riktigt mycket eftersom jag tycker att styrkan de har tillför mycket energi i alla fall till mig.  7/5-2020

The group comes from France and I was happy when I got this package because I thought France was completely quarantined right now and didn't even could send a package. It may not be hardcore in the sense that many people think, but here is more of a messy hardcore ... noisecore or something like that. The singer sounds angry and the whole band seems angry in some way. A singer who screams out his anxiety and from a therapeutic point of view I think he is doing really well after that. I feel also feel pretty good about being overrun in this way. Doesn't sound like any other band really and this without being odd really. I am not so good in this type of nosiecore or what to call it but I really like it because I think the strength they have brings a lot of energy to me anyway. 7/5-2020

PARLOR-JOY ANNOUNCED(CD)

En CD med två låtar från Softly och plus tre andra låtar. Skivan är inspelad i deras replokal. Det är ett gott rått och tungt sound påd enna skivan och precis som på LP-skivan så blir man överkörd på ett trevligt sätt. 13-14 minuter musik i total ilska och desperation och allt detta gjort på ett riktigt bra sätt. De här fem låtarna komme rnog inte gå upp på hitlistorna men jag tror inte heller att det är Parlors ambition på något sätt. Utan de vill ha ut frustration och spela den musik de älskar. För det hörs att de verkligen brinner för den här högljudda musiken och det ska de ha all cred för. Det kanske är tur att skivan inte är längre för man känner sig nästan som om man sprungit ett maratonlopp efter att lyssnat på skivan och man känner sig både trött och att man fått energi… 7/5-2020

A CD with two songs from Softly and plus three other songs. The record is recorded in their rehearsalroom. It is a good raw and heavy sound on the disc and just like on the LP, you get overdriven in a nice way. 13-14 minutes of music in total anger and desperation and all this done in a really good way. These five songs may not even be on the charts, but I don't think it's Parlor's ambition either way. They more want to get out frustration and playing the music they love. Because it is heard that they are really passionate about this loud music and they should have all the cred for that. It may be lucky that the disc is no longer because you almost feel as if you have run a marathon after listening to the disc and you feel both tired and energized… 7/5-2020
