Med en Blitz och en Exploited cover så sätter de en viss
standard och förväntan på hur de ska låta. Skivan inleds med låten Let´s
Start a band där de sjunger om bande som bildas på fyllan. Till och med jag
har bildat band på fyllan fast jag inte ens kan spela. De sjunger också om
sidoeffekter av vaccin eller rättare sagt frånvaron om forskining av
sidoeffekter i Pandemic Scare och hemlöshet i Best before Long gone date så
det är lite blandad kompott textmässigt för Panpanics. Musiken som spelar är
en ganska melodiös typ av punk och jag trodde kanske de skulle vara lite
hårdare med att de valde att göra en låt som Dead Cities som en cover men
visst är det kanske hårdare än 77-punk men de måste nog definieras punkrock…Det
är låtar som är lätta att sjunga med i och jag tror inte gruppen är så
mycket för att linda in sina åsikter etc i en massa flummiga texter som man
inte förstår utan detta är pang-på-rödbetan-punk. Titeln på skivan är ju
superb och det kanske det är så det är även om jag älskar punk och vill ha
bra ljud så finns det en viss charm med det såklart! 26/8-2025

With a Blitz and an Exploited cover, they set a certain
standard and expectation of how they should sound. The album begins with the
song Let's Start a band where they sing about bands that form when drunk.
Even I've formed bands on the drunk even though I can't even play. They also
sing about side effects of vaccines or rather the absence of the prevention
of side effects in Pandemic Scare and homelessness in Best before Long gone
date so it's a bit of a mixed bag lyrically for Panpanics. The music which
is played is a really melodic type of punk and I thought maybe they would be
a little harder with that they chose to do a song like Dead Cities as a
cover but sure it ́s maybe harder than 77-punk but they must probably be
defined punkrock... It ́s songs which are easy to sing along to and I don ́t
think the group is so much to wrap their opinions etc in a lot of fluffy
lyrics which you don ́t understand but this is bang-on-beetroot-punk. The
title of the record is superb and maybe that's how it is even if I love punk
and want good sound so is there a certain charm with it of course! 26/8-2025
