OXO 86-AUF DIE LIEBE(2CD SUNNY BASTARDS SBCD102)

Två skivor på denna och den ena är en fyralåtars skiva som heter If the kids are United men texterna på tyska. Tyska och punk….ni vet vad det innebär…alltid bra(nästan i alla fall) Jag börjar med If The kids are United som i första låten Komm doch mal unter har en barnkör och det går alltid hem hos mig. Annars spelar de ska på denna skivan och det gillar jag för de gör det jävligt bra. Låter som lite gammaldags ska lite grand och när jag hör att barnen är med på de andra låtarna också tycker jag det är mer än coolt. PÅ huvudskivan är det mer punk än ska även om tendenserna finns där i bakgrunden. Det som slår mig mest när jag lyssnar på Oxo 86 är att det är väldigt trallvänligt på ett positivt sätt och även om man inte kan tyska vill man sjunga med och det är sådan punk som gör mig mer än glad. 30/9-2014

Two records of this and one is a four songs album called If The Kids Are United, but the lyrics in German. German and punk ... you know what it means ... always good (almost, anyway) I will start with If The Kids Are United as the first song Komm doch mal unter have a children's choir and it always goes home with me. Otherwise, they will be playing on this disc, and I like that they do it for damn good. Sounds like a little old to be a little bit and when I hear that the kids are with the other songs too, I think it is more than cool. On the main disc is more punk than although ska are there in the background. What strikes me most when I listen to the Oxo 86 is that it's very grating-friendly in a positive way and even if you do not know German you want to sing along and it's such a punk that makes me more than happy. 30/9-2014
