ORKAN-ORKAN(LP-ALLEYCAT RECORDS ALC 068)

Den här skivan inleds och låter precis som jag trodde och hade hoppats att den skulle göra. På omslaget ser de ut som om de skulle kunna vara med i filmen Hair och där är ju en del flummig musik. Här är det samma typ av music fast i lite mer proggig stil och orkan växer snabbt ut till en favorit hos mig. Jag är ju uppväxt med proggen och tidig hårdrock och Orkan passer ju ypperligt för mig som vill minnas lite gamla tider fast med ny musik. Jag gillar också när de sjunger flera stycken på en gång och det gör att musiken blir mäktigare på något sätt. Det är en ganska tuff musik som ackompanjerar sångarna och jag tanker både på November och Motvind och det känns riktigt kul för det är båda två gamla favoriter. Orkan är ett ypperligt namn på det här bandet. 11/7-2019

This record starts and sounds just like I thought and had hoped it would. On the cover they look as if they could be part of the film Hair and there is some psychedelic music there. Here it is the same type of music stuck in a little more progressive style and Orkan grows quickly into a favorite with me. I am grown up with the Swedish prog and the early hard rock and the Orkan is great for me who wants to remember some old times but with new music. I also like when they sing many people at the same time and that makes the music become more powerful in some way. It's a pretty tough music that accompanies the singers and I think both on November and Motvind and it feels really good because they are both old favorites. Orkan(Hurricane) is a great name for this band. 11/7-2019
