ONKEL TUKA-HOTELL HELLMAN(CD-NORSKAMERIKANER AS NA12)

Fick denna och en till skiva från Ronny på Svindel Records och Onkel Tuka har ett sound som säkert uppskattas mer av norrmän eller rättare sagt texter men jag tycker att de har en ganska cool stil. I första låten I Kö så låter det nästan som att den är tagen från filmen O Brother where art thou och på den vägen är det. Lite countrydoftande folkrock eller vad man skall kalla detta med norska texter. Man blir glad av musiken men i för mycket kanske blir just för mycket. Roligt att Lennart Persson från Larm har skrivit en liten text om bandet för det måste väl vara något av hans sista alster som skribent innan han gick bort. 13/12-2011

I got this record and one more with the group from Ronny on Svindel Records and Onkel Tuka have a sound which surely is more appreciated by Norwegians or maybe more so that the lyrics is more appreciated but I think they have a cool style. In the first song I Kö so do they sound like this is taken from the movie O brother where art thou and on that way it is. A little bit countrysmelling folkrock or what to call this with Norwegian lyrics. You become really happy of the music but it maybe it is too much. Fun that Lennart Persson from Larm have written a text about the group because this must be one of his last texts before he died. 13/12-2011

ONKEL TUKA-GERILJAGOSPEL(CD--NORSKAMERIKANER AS NA 005)

Denna är den andra skivan jag fick från Ronny på Svindel Records och den kom ut 2006. Det är inga konstigheter med denna skivan för den har samma sound som Hotell Hellman och det är inte så mycket mer att säga om denna skivan egentligen och Onkel Tuka har hållit sin stil och den kan man inte ta ifrån dem för det de gör gör de riktigt bra men som jag sade här ovan så kan det bli lite väl mycket med en hel skiva. Man får nästan lite religiös feeling i några av låtarna och det är klart skivan har ju Gospel med i namnet. 13/12-2011

ONKEL TUKA-GERILJAGOSPEL(CD--NORSKAMERIKANER AS NA 005)

This record is the second record I got from Ronny from Svindel Records and it came out 2006. It´s no peculiarities with this record and it have the same sound as Hotell Hellman and it´s not so much more to say about this record actually and Onkel Tuka have hold their style and you cannot take away from them that the things they do they do really good but as I said here before is that it can be a little bit too much with a whole record. I almost get a religious feeling in some of the songs and of course the record have Gospel in their name. 13/12-2011
