OH NO ONO-YES(CD-MORNINGSIDE RECORDS MORE CD-021) Ett danskt band med ett ganska ovanligt bandnamn och med en stil på framsidan av skivan som ger mig associationer till Beatles. Även namnet ger mig såklart associationer till Beatles eftersom de stoppat in ett Ono där. När man sedan startar skivan med ett intro som heter Strawberry festival börjar det nästan bli jobbigt Beatles-inspirerat. Annorlunda är nog ordet när man sätter på skivan och det är ordet som dyker upp i mitt huvud och mycket beror nog på den ljusa rösten som sångaren har. Musikaliskt då……Aha, XTC, Bee Gess, INXS….många olika stilar blir det men ni förstår ungefär var det ligger.(FEM) 15/8-07 |

Even the name give me associations to Beatles because they have put in an Ono there. When they start with a song called Strawberry-festival so becomes is it always too much Beatles-inspiration. Different is the word when you put on the record and that´s the word which comes up in my head and much depends on the light voice that the singer have. Musically then….Aha, XTC, Bee Gees, INXS….many different styles is it but you can almost understand where they are now musically.(FIVE) 15/8-07 |
