OBITS-I BLAME YOU(CD-SUBPOP SPCD 785/BORDER) Wow, Obits låter som ett amerikanskt alternativ till Soundtrack of our lives tycker jag. Det känns som om det ungefär är de samma influenserna som har gjort sitt för båda sounden. Obits har ett sound som pendlar någonstans mellan punk och tuff rock. Sångaren låter ibland som Hives Pelle Almgren och det passar ypperligt till den här musiken för det är sådan här röst som man bör ha om man skall spela och sjunga rock som denna. Stökigt och med gitarrer som låter överallt och jag kan tänka mig att liksom SOOL är detta ett liveband även om skivan passar ypperligt in här i alla fall.(SJU) 9/4-09 |
OBITS-I BLAME YOU(CD-SUBPOP SPCD 785/BORDER) Wow, Obits sounds like an American alternative to Soundtrack of our lives I think. It feels like they have a little bit of the same influences both of this bands. Obits have a sounds which is going between punk and tough rock. The singer sounds sometimes as Hives Pelle Almgren and that suits me really fine and it suits the music really well because do you have a voice like this your music should sound the same way. Messy and with guitars which sounds all the time and I can imagine that like SOOL so is this a liveband even if the record suits me really well.(SEVEN) 9/4-09 |
