OASIS-STOP THE CLOCKS(2 CD SONY BMG 88697007572)Jag har inte riktigt koll men har Oasis slutat eller hur är det. Vad jag vet är att bröderna Gallagher håller på Manchester City och här på denna dubbelCD visar de många gångar varför de är ett av världens största rockband. För låtar som Wonderwall, Supersonic, Champagne Supernova osv har tagit världen med storm. Det de gör kanske inte är något nytt egentligen men de har lyckats förvalta arvet från brittiska grupper som Stones, Beatles osv och fått in en del punk/new wave och sytt samman detta till något eget egentligen….rock på mycket hög nivå. Skit i all skandaler de har haft och fokusera på musiken så för ni två helgjutna album här men som alltid med best of skivor fattas det låtar men för er helt oinvigda är detta en perfekt introduktion.(ÅTTA) 27/11-06 |

What I know is that the Brothers Gallagher support Manchester City and here on this double CD they show us many times why they´re one of the worlds best rockbands. Because with songs like Wonderwall, Supersonic, Champagne Supernova and so on have they taken the world with storm. They do maybe anything new but they have managed to take the heritage from the british groups like Stones, Beatles and so on and get in some punk/new wave and take this together and make something own….rock in a very high level. Don´t give a damn about all scandals they have/had and focus on the music and you get two very good albums here but as always with best of records so is there surely something that you miss but for the one which never have heard them is this a perfect introduction.
