THE NUNNERY-NUNS WITH GUNS(CD-ZTAR RECORDS ZR001) Modig har mycket att göra. Här är hans grupp som han har tillsammans med sin fru och Crippa och H-son. Punkig rock är vad som bjuds när The Nunnery kör igång med sina tio låtar. Veronica sjunger riktigt bra och med ett så pass bra kompband bakom henne så kan det inte bli dåligt. Modig har skrivit alla låtar och det har han gjort bra och här finns influenser från Stooges, Blondie, Sounds, MC5 osv kan jag tänka mig och då kanske ni får en bild av hur det låter ungefär. Jag gillar mest den tuffa gitarren som ligger och hugger hela tiden som en irriterande mygga eller så. Finns inte så mycket att tänka på egentligen innan ni springer till affären och införskaffar den här skivan.(SJU) 5/12-07 |

Punky rock is what is on the menu when The Nunnery do their songs which is ten. Veronica sings really good and with a good band as the one behind her it´s difficult to be bad. Modig have written all the songs and that he have done very good and here we have influences from Stooges, Blondie, Sounds, MC5 and so on I can imagine and then you maybe get the picture about how this music sounds. I like the tough guitar most which is like a an irritating mosquito in the background all the time. It´s not so much to think about without running to the shop and buy this one.(SEVEN) 5/12-07 |
