NICCOKICK-THE GOOD TIMES WE SHARED WE´RE THEY SO BAD(CD-STARTRACKS STAR 151119-2) Skivan inleds med ett blåsparti som lovar mycket. När skivan sedan går ner i tempo är det en grupp som Popsicle som kommer upp i mitt huvud ganska snabbt. Det som slår mig ganska snabbt är att man blir riktigt glad av deras musik och helt klart är detta en grupp som kommer att höras mycket på radion i framtiden. Musikaliska influenser känns som om det är Cures glada sidor, Under Ika(minns någon dem) och I´m from Barcelona. Jag kanske är orättvis som jämför dem men det är alltid svårt med nya grupper att inte göra det…..(SJU) 5/2-08 |
NICCOKICK-THE GOOD TIMES WE SHARED WE´RE THEY SO BAD(CD-STARTRACKS STAR 151119-2) The record have an intro with horns which promise us a lot and then it goes down in tempo and then I think about Popsicle and they come up in my head really fast. The thing that hits me really fast is that I become really happy when I listens to them and this is a group which it´s going to be heard a lot of on radio I think. Musically influences it feels like if it is Cure´s happy sides, Under Ika(if someone remembers them) and I´m from Barcelona. I´m maybe unfair who compares them but there´s always difficult with new group not do that thing…(SEVEN) 5/2-08 |
