NERKS-GREATEST HITS VOLUME 1(CD-DEADLAMB RECORDS DL23)

2012 kom denna skiva ut och det verkar vara gruppens enda skiva. Kaxig titel och kollar man på bilderna i skivan så känns det mer som att det är ett plojpunkband. Med  ett ganska tufft sound inleder Nerks skivan med en låt som heter Violence. Jag tänker tillbaka på oi-skivor och på punk från 80-talet. Tänker lite på Anti-Nowhere League och jag tror lite det är sångarens förtjänst. Skivan fortsätter på samma vis och efter att ha hört skivan så tar jag nog bort att de skulle vara ett plojband , i alla fall inte musikaliskt för det är hård och riktigt bra brittisk punk som är grejen för gruppen. Så det här med Greatest Hits kanske inte är en helt fel titel på den här skivan för det är tio små hits när det gäller sådan här punk. Gillar ni streetpunk/UK82-punk och gammal hederlig punk så tror jag att Nerks kan vara något att kolla in för er också! Tack för den här skivan Deadlamb Records… ett av mina nya favoritband.. helt klart! 7/12-2022

NERKS-GREATEST HITS VOLUME 1(CD-DEADLAMB RECORDS DL23)

In 2012, this record came out and it seems to be the group's only record. Cocky title and if you look at the pictures in the album, it feels more like it's a funpunkband. With a pretty tough sound, Nerks begins the record with a song called Violence. I think back to oi records and to punk from the 80s. Thinking a little bit about the Anti-Nowhere League and I think a little bit that's the singer's merit. The record continues in the same way and after hearing the record, I guess I take away that they would be a funband – at least not musically because it's hard and really good British punk that's the thing for the group. So this thing about Greatest Hits might not be a completely wrong title on this record because it's ten small hits when it comes to punk like this. If you like street punk / UK82 punk and good old-fashioned punk, I think Nerks might be something to check out for you too! Thanks for this album Deadlamb Records... one of my new favorite bands..
