NEED FIRE-CAT IN A CANNON(CD- CELTIC SUN RECORDS CSR06) Fullängdaren med 12 låtar är också en trevlig sak Här känns det som om de funnit sin stil mer för här är det mer keltiskt och likheterna med Levellers är väl ganska slående ibland. Men på samma gång som likheterna finnes där så finns det en hel del som gör att musiken faktiskt blir ganska egen. Jag älskar den här typen av blandning av folkmusik och rock/punk och Need Fire verkar också göra det. Visst finns det några låtar som inte håller lika hög standard som de andra låtarna men i det stora hela är det underbart.(SJU) 4/10-06 |

Here it feels like if they have found their style more because here it is more celtic style and the similarities with Levellers is really hardhitting sometimes. But in the same time as the similarities is there so is there a whole lot of the music which is own. I love this type of mix of folkmusic and rock/punk and Need Fire seems to do that too. Suere theres some songs which haven´t as high standard as the other songs but as a wholeness it's wonderful.(SEVEN) 4/10-06 |
| NEED FIRE-EP(MINI-CD CELTIC SUN RECORDS CSR01) De här gruppen är riktigt snygg med säckpipa och kilt och de här 6(i alla fall fem) låtarna är riktigt bra. Börjar i och för sig med ett intro som är lite halvskumt. Lite får mycket hårdrock eller vad man skall kalla den låten. Sedan blir det lite Big Country-feeling över deras musik. Lustigt annars att de sjunger om Edinburgh, Livingston och liknande när de kommer från USA. It starts with a intro which is a little bit halfodd. A little too much heavy metal or what to call that song. And then we get a little bit of Big Country-feeling over their music. It's funny because they sing about Edinburgh, Livingstina dn similar Scottish places when they comes from USA.
