MOVIE STAR JUNKIES-MELVILLE(CD-VOODOO RHYTM RECORDS VRCD53/BORDER) Jag vet absolut inget om gruppen men om man ser på namnen kan man tro att gruppen kommer från Italien. Jag får en feeling av gamla tider och i första låten The Curse tycker jag mig höra både Doors och Nick Cave på samma gång och det låter ganska unikt på ett positivt sätt. Det fortsätter på det bluesiga sättet men det är ett mycket stökigt band och tankarna går vidare till de nämnda banden plus kanske en artist som Tom Waits för bandet har svängningar i musiken som man inte alltid är beredd på….kul…(SEX) 5/11-08 |

I get a feeling of old times and in the first song The Curse I think I can hear both Doors and Nick Cave in the same time and that´s really unique in some positive way. They continue in the bluesy way but it´s a really messy sound they gives us and the thoughts go on to the mentioned bands plus an artist like Tom Waits because the band have so much different styles and way which you´re not always prepared on…fun…(SIX) 5/11-08 |
