MOVEMENTS-THE WORD THE FLESH AND THE EVIL(LP-ALLEYCAT RECORDS ALC 017)

Jag har hört skivan innan någon gång men inte ägt den. Det gör jag nu tack vare Jonk på Alleycat Records. Movements har ett sound som jag tycker man skulle kunna kalla indiemusik och kanske vara typiskt att visa upp om man ska berätta eller visa någon vad indie är. Ganska nervig indie är vad det är och jag tycker mig finna spår av både Blur och Wedding Present om man säger så och jag gillar den lätt distade gitarren som spökar i bakgrunden mest hela tiden. Sångaren har attityd och mer av den varan än manga andra sångare har eller aldrig kommer att få. Orgeln får lite utrymme också i några av låtarna och det låter riktigt coolt tycker jag. Jag tycker helt klart Movements borde fått eller få lite mer utrymme hos den stora musikskaran och hoppas att denna recension ger skivan ett lyft! 11/7-2019

I've heard the record before sometime but not owned it. I do so now thanks to Jonk on Alleycat Records. Movements have a sound that I think you could call indie music and maybe be typical to show if you should tell or show someone what indie is. Quite nervy indie is what it is and I find myself finding traces of both Blur and Wedding Present if you say so and I like the slightly distorted guitar that haunts in the background most of the time. The singer has the attitude and more of the product than many other singers have or will never get. The organ gets some space also in some of the songs and it sounds really cool I think. I definitely think Movements should have or get a little more space with in the big musicworld and hope that this review will give the album a lift! 11/7-2019

Första skivan i Alleycats releaseschema. Många skivor har ju följt sedan dess och alla håller hög klass….Movements är ju inget undantag för deras 60-tals doftande Doors-rock är riktigt fräck och man känner riktigt atmosfären komma till mig av 60-talsnsotalgi men då på ett positivt och modernt sätt. Och skivan fortsätter i samma stil nästan hela tiden och jag bara njuter av soundet för det känns som om man vore tillbaks på 60-talet och haschröken ligger tät(inte så bra) men ni förstår vad jag menar. The first record in Alleycats releasescheme. Many records have followed since then and all these records holds high class…Movements are good them too because their 60´s smelling Doors-rock is really cool and you fell the atmosphere comes to me of 60´s nostalgia but then in a positive and modern way. And the record continues in the same style all the time and I only enjoy the sound because it feels like if you´re back in the 60´s and the potsmoke is nigh(not so good) but you understand what I mean. Check this out! 22/2-2010
