MOTHER MISERY-ALL EYES ON YOU(CD-ALABAMA RECORDS ALAB005)

Andra skivan med Mother Misery och det skall bli kul att höra hur de lät 2007. Här börjar de bygga upp sitt hårda sound men ändå ett sound som de skall vara stolta över för det är ett lite eget sound i alla influenser som de säkert har men Mother Misery är riktigt kompetenta musiker som verkligen älskar denna sorts musik och då framförallt metal. Musik som faktiskt skulle kunna ha spelats på radio men jag inte om det kommer att göras det. Precis som förut så är Mustasch en av ingredienserna i deras musik men helt klart har de en ganska egen stil i metallvärlden. 15/6-2011

The second record with Mother Misery and it would be fun to hear how they sound 2007. Here they starts to build up their hard sound but it´s anyway a sound which they should be proud of in all their influences as they surely have but Mother Misery is really competent musicans which really love this sort of music and then of course most metal. Music which actually could have been played on radio but I don´t know if it´s going to do that. Precisly as before or maybe now so is Mustasch one of the ingredients in their music but they have a really own style in the metal circus. 15/6-2011

MOTHER MISERY-GRANDIOSITY(CDMMCD2004)

Mother Miserys debutskiva kom ut 2004 och det skall bli intressant att hugga tänderna i den här skivan.Omslaget känns lite hemmagjort sådär men musiken känns inte så hemmagjord…amatörmässig alltså. Det är tuff rock eller metal kanske man kan kalla det här också men det är kanske lite mer tempo här än det är tyngd i några av låtarna så lite har de allt ändrat sig på sju år, det måste jag säga men de har ändå lyckats hålla sig till Mother Misery stilen mest hela tiden och det skall de ha cred för. Köp denna skivan liksom de andra två…..och alla efterföljande album. 15/6-2011

Mother Miserys debutrecord came out 2004 and it will be interesting to put my teeth in this record. The cover looks a little bit homemade but the music doesn´t feel home made…amataeurmsuic I mean it isn´t. It´s tough rock or metal maybe you can clal this but it have some more tempo here than it have heaviness in some of the songs so a little have they changed through the years, I must say that but they have anyway managed to have the Mother Misery-style all the time almost and that shall they have cred for. Buy this record and buy the other two…and all the following albums. 15/6-2011

Killen som står längst fram på skivan ser ut som Ralph i Mustasch och jag vet inte vad man skall säga om det…hoppas inte att det är medvetet. Det kanske inte är helt så långt ifrån Mustasch men det finns andra influenser som känns mycket viktigare när man hör den här gruppen. Det är grupper som Hardcore Superstar, Backyard Babies, Sator och den typen av rock n roll och detta blandat med lite metal och kanske en touch av Him någonstans. Det som slår mig mest är deras melodier och deras kaxiga attityd som de har och det är verkligen något jag uppskattar. Den här typen av hård rock tilltalar mig mycket och Mother Misery är en framtidsgrupp tycker jag. 17/5-2011

The guy which is standing in the front on the record looks a little bit like Ralph in Mustasch and I don´t know what to say about that…I hope that isn´t the meaning. It´s maybe not so far away from Mustasch but there´s a lot of other influences which feels more important when you hear this group. It´ is groups like Hardcore Superstar, Backyard Babies, Sator and that type of rock n roll and all this mixed with some metal a maybe a little touch of Him  somewhere. The thing which hits me the most is their melodies and their cocky attitude which they have and that I really appreciate. This type of hard music is something for me and Mother Misery is a group for the future. 17/5-2011
