MONO MIND-MIND CONTROL(ELEVATOR 53846492/BORDER)

Efter vad jag förstår så har detta varit något slags enmansprojekt med Per Gessle där han haft fiktiva personer i gruppen och fått en del hits I USA. Men nu när han fyller 60 avslöjar han hur det är och släpper ett helt album och han har haft hjälp av Christoffer Lundquist och Clarance Öfverman. Helena Josefsson och Christoffer är med och sjunger lite också. Det stod att det skulle vara någon slags dansmusik och det är det väl kanske men det är faktiskt en typ av musik jag uppskattar en hel del. Jag är väl en av få punkarna som faktiskt många gånger uppskattar Per Gessles alster och jag vet inte om det är melodierna jag uppskattar. Men han hörs inte så mycket själv och ibland blir det lite väl avspänd musik som i Best way to travel men där finns istället en stil blandad av Kraftwerk och Visage och det är ganska fräckt. En intressant skiva och det ska bli intressant att se hur det slår nu när folk vet att det är Gessle som gjort det! 15/1-2019

After what I understand, this has been some kind of one-man project with Per Gessle where he had fictitious people in the group and received some hits in the US. But now that he turns 60 he reveals how it is and releases an entire album and he has been assisted by Christoffer Lundquist and Clarance Öfverman. Helena Josefsson and Christoffer are with us singing a little too. It was said that there would be some kind of dance music and that is perhaps maybe but it is actually a type of music I appreciate a lot. Well I am one of the few punks that many times appreciate Per Gessle's work and I do not know if it is the melodies I appreciate. But he is not heard very much himself and sometimes it is a bit of well-relaxed music as in Best way to travel but there is instead a style mixed by Kraftwerk and Visage and it is quite cool sometimes. An interesting album and it will be interesting to see how it now strikes when people know that it is Gessle who did it! 15/1-2019
