MONKEYSTRIKES-ANGRY KNEES(M-CD PLANEKONOMI PLAN 4) Det här gillar jag, det hör jag med en gång. Som en lite tuffare variant av Altered Images där Cecilia Nordlund låter lite naivt som Clare Grogan(hette hon väl) gjorde. Musikaliskt är det kanske lite tuffare än Happy Birthday-gänget, någonstans mittemellan tidiga Jesus and Mary Chain och Cure. Man blir glad som fan av titellåten, var så säker. De andra tre låtarna på skivan gör inte ont de heller. Och i Won´t stop känns det att Sahara Hotnights har gjort mycket för svensk musik.(SJU) 21/4-04 |

As a tougher styled variant on Aletered Images there Cecilia Nordlund sounds a little bit naïve as Clare Grogan(thatwas her name or?) did. Musically it´s a little bit tougher than the Happy Birthdaygang and it´s somewhere between early jesus and Mary Chain mixed with Cure. I get really happy when I hear the titletrack, be so sure. The other three songs doesn´t hurt either. And in Won´t stop we can hear that Sahara Hotnights have done much for Swedish music.(SEVEN) 21/4-04 |
