MINUS/OBSCENE-SPLIT CD(CD-BROKEN NOISE)

Jag fick fyra skivor med denna grupp Minus från Singapore och på denna skiva splittar de ihop med ett band från hemlandet Obscene. Minus är först ut på denna skiva och vad jag tycker det är bra. Inget nytt alls men jag tänker mig tillbaks till tiden då Discharge, Exploited, Varukers etc kom till oss och skakade oss med sin musik och Minus har verkligen förvaltat detta arv riktigt bra och deras 6 låtar gör så att jag sitter och småler för kärleken de visar till denna typ av musik är stor. Obscene har ungefär samma tempo och stil i sin musik och även de visar upp prov på riktigt bra känsla för musiken och det är kul med band från så pass ”konstiga” länder som detta och att de är så bra. 26/11-2014

I got four albums with this group Minus from Singapore and on this record splits them together with a band from home Obscene. Minus is first out on this record and what I think it is good. Nothing new at all but I think me back to the days when Discharge, Exploited, Varukers etc came to us and shook us with their music and Minus really have managed this heritage is really good and their 6 songs do so that I sit and smiles for the love they show to this type of music is large. Obscene have roughly the same pace and style in her music and also they show up samples of really good feel for the music and it's fun with bands from so "strange" countries like this and they are so good. 26/11-2014

MINUS/PEACE OF ANNIHILATION-SPLIT CD(CD)

Ännu en splitskiva från Singapore och det låter riktigt bra…På denna skiva börjar Peace of Annihilation och de spelar en väldigt vild stil av hardcore men inte så bra ljud eller rättare sagt jag tror att de har valt att inte ha så bra ljud utan jag tror att de har valt att ha lite distorterat ljud på något sätt och det låter ganska fräckt faktiskt och jag uppskattar deras musik ganska mycket ändå..Minus kör på i samma stil som Obscene splitten men de var nog lite bättre där. Men visst är det d-beat-punk som är grejen och jag tycker det är underbart med att grupper från Singapore kan låta såhär. 26/11-2014

MINUS/PEACE OF ANNIHILATION-SPLIT CD(CD)

Another split disc from Singapore and it sounds really good ... On this discPeace of Annihilation beginsand they play a very wild style of hardcore but not so good sound, or rather, I think they have chosen not to have that great sound but I think that they have decided to have a little distortered sound in any way and it sounds pretty nifty indeed and I appreciate their music pretty much anyway Minus is having the same style as on the Obscene-split but I like them more there. But it is d-beat punk that's the thing, and I think it's wonderful that groups from Singapore might sound like this. 26/11-2014

MINUS-MINUS RAGE(CD-TRIBAL WAR ASIA)

Denna skiva kommer från 2003 och innehåller 15 låtar och med covers som Iron Fist till exempel…Här spelar gruppen klart mycket snabbare än de gör senare i karriären men det är riktigt trevlig och charmig d-beat de ger oss i alla fall. Deras cover av Lies(Disorder) och Iron Fist är fräcka. Inte så mycket att snacka om egentligen förutom att vi kan säga att de verkligen lyckas med sitt uppsåt att vara arga. Texterna är verkligen fyllda av hat, ilska över krig, orättvisor etc och de låter som ett sådant här band ”ska” göra och det är en befrielse att lyssna till dem. Kolla in gruppen om ni vill ha lite asiatiskt hardcore. 26/11-2014

MINUS-MINUS RAGE(CD-TRIBAL WAR ASIA)

This album is from 2003 and contains 15 songs and cover songs like Iron Fist for example ... plays the group clearly much faster than they do later in their careers but it is really nice and charming d-beat they give us in any case. Their cover of Lies(Disorder) and Iron Fist is shameless. Not so much to talk about really except that we can say that they really succeed in his attempt to be angry. The lyrics are really filled with hatred, anger over the war, injustice, etc., and they sound like this kind of band "should" do and it's a relief to hear them. Check out the group if you want a little asian hardcore. 26/11-2014

MINUS-GIVE MY FREEDOM(CD-BROKEN NOISE NOISE 67

En skiva med 12 låtar plus 20 låtar från åren 1992-2000. Denna skiva kom ut 2014 och man märker en viss skillnad i musiken. De spelar lite lugnare musik om man nu kan kalla detta lugnt för det är ju självklart d-beat ännu men det känns som om de har sneglat mer till band som Exploited och mycket av den vågen som på 80-talet och varför inte band som Restarts etc också. Men att alltid behålla sin punkstil kommer säkert Minus att göra även om de gått från d-beat till hardcore och detta med en stor dos av punkrock. Ett band som håller måttet och de skulle säkert kunna tävla med europeiska band om de fick chansen för så pass välspelat och dedikerat är det. Som kuriosa får vi tjugo låtar från åren 1992-2000 och det är mycket viktiga alster för den asiatiska hardcorecenen….var så säkra på det. 26/11-2014

MINUS-GIVE MY FREEDOM(CD-BROKEN NOISE NOISE 67)

An album with 12 songs plus 20 songs from 1992-2000. This album came out in 2014 and you notice a difference in the music. They play a little calmer music if one can call it quiet because it's obviously d-beat yet but it feels like they've looked more into bands like Exploited and much of the wave in the 80s and why not bands like Restarts etc also. But always keep their punk style will surely and  even if they have gone from d-beat hardcore and this with a large dose of punk rock. A band that  measure up and they could certainly compete with European bands if they got the chance for such a well played and dedicated. As a curiosity, we get twenty songs from the years 1992-2000 and it is very important matter for the Asian hardcorecene ... .Be so sure of that. 26/11-2014
