MATCHES-DECOMPOSER(CD-EPITAPH 6815-2) Rätt lustigt när jag efteråt kollar in Epitaphs hemsida och ser att de tycker lite som jag. Att sångaren påminner om Robert Smith lite grand från The Cure. Musikaliskt också ibland men sångaren har även drag från Darkness och Arks sångare. Kul för detta gör att musiken inte blir lika likriktad som man är van med. Epitaph var ju kända för renodlad punkrock förut och det skall man kanske inte beskylla Matches för att spela. Men som en skiva med Cure när de var som bäst kan man kanske istället kunna beskylla dem för även om man inte kan säga att de är ett plagiat eller så. Kolla in om ni vill ha något udda men riktigt bra och utan att vara udda på ett oförståeligt sätt.(SJU) 18/9-06 |
MATCHES-DECOMPOSER(CD-EPITAPH 6815-2) Really funny when I afterwards looked at Epitaph website and see that they think a little bit like me. That the singer reminds me about Robert Smith from The Cure. Musically also but sometimes he have some influences from Arks and Darkness singer too. It's fun because that doesn´t make the music so similar to all other music but really usual music you cannot said that Matches is guilty to. But asa record with Cure when they´re at best can you instead say that they´re guilto to without saying that they copy that group.
