LOVE ROCKETS-(THIS AIN´T NO) ROCKET SCIENCE(CD- BAKRAURFARFITA RECORDS BFR-346)

Bauhaus medlemmar fortsatte ju i Love and Rockets men detta är något helt annat. Detta är en fem låtars skiva av Love Rockets och det är skönt poppig punkrock som bjuds. Har egentligen ingen information om gruppen så vi får låta musiken tala och det lyckas gruppen riktigt bra med! För det är riktigt svängigt och det finns melodier i överflöd och det finns en glöd i det hela som många andra band saknar. Fem låter är på gränsen att bilda en uppfattning om en grupp egentligen men man känner ganska fort deras kärlek till snabb punkrock med mycket melodier. Jag kommer faktiskt inte på någon annan grupp de låter som men visst tror jag att ni kan uppskatta detta om ni gillar tidiga Green Day till exempel för att göra det lite enklare. Självklart låter det inte som dem men kanske lite likartade influenser även om Love Rockets blandar in lite hårdrockliknande toner i Instant Gratification till exempel. 3/2-2025

Bauhaus members continued in Love and Rockets but this is something completely different. This is a five song record by Love Rockets and it is nice poppy punkrock which is offered. I don't really have any information about the group so we have to let the music do the talking and the group succeeds really well with that! Because it's really swinging and there are melodies in abundance and there is a glow in it all that many other bands lack. Five songs is on the limit to form an opinion about a group really but you feel really fast their love for fast punkrock with a lot of melodies. I can't think of any other group they sound like but I think you can appreciate this if you like early Green Day for example to make it a little easier. Of course it doesn't sound like them but maybe a little bit similar influences even if Love Rockets mixes in some hard rock-like tones in Instant Gratification for example. 3/2-2025
