LABASHEEDA-BLUEPRINTS(CD-PRESTO CHANGO RECORDS PCR 014-2)

Den här gruppen kommer från Nederländerna och det landet brukar ju ha riktigt bra musik. De spelar inte punk utan här är det en fin form av indie och det är riktigt njutfullt att lyssna till dem. Det är en tjej på sång och gitarr och två killar som utgör gruppen men de får till riktigt mycket ljud trots att de bara är tre. Det som också är kul är att de förutom de vanliga instrumenten har med fioler, piano, synth, percussion och cello på några låtar och det blir en form av artrock eller vad det heter av det hela.  Jag kommer att tänka på Au-Pairs och Gang of Four ibland och det är lite av den new wave-känslan som kom där på 80-talet som Labasheed ger oss på den här skivan. Jag älskar det och jag tror att många av er som läser här också kommer att göra det om ni ger gruppen en chans. Svårbeskrivbart som ni kanske förstår och det borde göra er ännu mer nyfikna för när jag säker att det är bra så är det bra. Det vet ni som brukar läsa Skruttmagazine att det är så. LABASHEEDA-BLUEPRINTS(CD-PRESTO CHANGO RECORDS PCR 014-2)

This group comes from the Netherlands and that country usually have really good music. They don ́t play punk but here it ́s a nice form of indie and it ́s really nice to listen to them. It ́s a girl on vocals and guitar and two guys who make up the group but they get foreword a lot of sound even if they´re only three. The thing that is also fun is that they have violins, piano, synthesizer, percussion and cello on some songs and it becomes a form of artrock or what it is called of the whole. I think of Au-Pairs and Gang of Four sometimes and it's a little bit of the new wave feeling that came there in the 80's that Labasheed gives us on this record. I love it and I think many of you who read here will do it too if you give the group a chance. Hard to describe as you might understand and it should make you even more curious because when I'm sure it's good, it's good. Those of you who usually read Skruttmagazine know that this is the case.
