KJELLVANDER, CHRISTIAN-THE ROUGH AND RYNGE(CD-STARTRACKS STAR 164132-2)

Det är nog första gången som jag recenserar Christian Kjellvander även om jag har en hel del skivor hemma av hans tidigare alster. Som jag vet sedan tidigare så är hans skivor fyllda av väldigt lugn musik men det känns väldigt behagligt att såhär på morgonen lyssna till detta och hans mörka röst passar ypperligt in till den här typen av musik som ligger någonstans mellan alt country och singer/songwriterstilen. Det kanske inte är så att detta är den ultimata festmusiken eftersom Christian inte utstrålar glädje precis men jag tror inte att det är meningen och så länge han gör sina lyssnare glada så tror jag det räcker for honom. 5/11-2010

This is probably the first time that I review Christian Kjellvander even if I have a lot of his records at my home. As I know from earlier is that his records is filled with very calm music but it´s feels really cosy in the morning to listen to this and his dark voice suits really good into this type of music which is somewhere between altcountry and singer/songwritestyle. It´s maybe not the ultimate partymusic because Christian don´t really shine of happiness in his music but I don´t think that´s the meaning either and as long as he does his listeners happy do I think that´s enough for him. 5/11-2010
